I’m sure he is/was pretty good. But I did think that it was silly for him to describe parrying as basically a zero-risk strategy on Wake-up SRK. Sure, sometimes you can throw a parry in and keep on with whatever you were going to do, but it’s not that easy, eh? I dunno, it’s not like the topic of the show was parries, but it was a show on system mechanics and I was surprised to hear parrying explained that way.
its maybe zero risk in specific situations. but those situations are the kind where it’s unlikely to even happen or where parrying won’t afford much advantage.
