It really seemed to me like Harada was just trying to get Ono in trouble by revealing something he wasn’t supposed to reveal yet. When Namco made such a strong showing by constantly thanking the community and rewarded the top two Tekken players with those insane sticks, Harada kind of leveraged the crowd onto his side. I think he was trying to show how disrespectful it is of Ono to be in the mecca of fighting games and save what could potentially be a huge announcement for the community for Comic-con, an event largely irrelevant to the community.

This. I could be wrong, but I think people are taking the whole banter between the two a little too seriously. I don’t think they’re teasing a Namco vs Capcom crossover. In my opinion, Harada was just teasing Ono for not spilling the beans to the fighting game community.
