Edy’s Strawberry is good.
Breyer’s Vanilla is still the best vanilla ever made.
Friendly’s Pistachio is good too.
La Salle coconut ice cream is to die for.
Haagen dazs butter pecan is good too.
But my fav shit isn’t an ice cream…its a fruit bar.
its Edy’s Outshine Coconut fruit bars.
Its like crack on a stick.
I’m addicted.
its the best thing in the frozen aisle.
p.s.
ice cream makes me wanna poop.
like a laxative.
I’m not lactose intolerant, since I can drink milk, eat cereal w milk, and have yogurt no problemo,
but damn for whatev reason a bowl of ice cream sends me direct to the bowl.
I think its either the cream, or the rock salt.
anyone else like me?
edit:
forgot to mention Pistachio ice cream is best with chocolate. I prefer Hershey’s white & dark chocolate swirl.
try that combo. goes together like cigs & coffee. its like one was made for the other
tbh breyer’s is really low tier ice-cream. It gets Freezer burned QUICK and the taste isn’t as smooth as Haagen Daz or Ben and Jerry’s. I would put it higher than Blue Bunny which taste like complete garbage though.
Also, if you have to add a bunch of shit to make your ice cream eating experience good, you’re fucking up… That shit should be good to go right out of the bucket.
All those nuts and wafers and shit should enhance the experience, not make your banana ripple crack cocaine ice cream edible…
Mint chocolate chip is one of my favorites, but there’s a lot that you can do with salted caramel. Matcha green tea with vanilla is also one I like but it’s really only good plain by itself or in a cone. It’s also hard to find good matcha ice cream. I’ve been in the Northeast for a while lately and aside from a local creamery and Cold-stone I have trouble finding really good ice cream to buy by the 1.5L size, so I’ve been going with Friendly’s brand for now.
Favorite topping: Don’t often have these available to top, but gummy worms/bears (I’m a horrible human being from what most people tell me).
The old lady has been making me switch it up lately from pints of B&J’s to Klondike bars for the sake of portion control. So I end up eating two or three Klondikes.
When I used to live in Colorado, I used to take my fiance to a candy factory called Enstrom’s. Fell in love a flavor called Graham Central Station, had chocolate vanilla swirl, toffee, and graham cracker.
Since I live LA now, I’m enjoying Thrifty’s. Dirt cheap but great.
