If Orgia mode is off, j.D can be used to bait anti-airs. Kanji’s R-Action and alot of those 2B’s are easily baited.
Anyone got resets they wanna share? I have the EX Megido combos down and I’m curious as to what everyone else is doing off a Megido ender. I’m just doing all my usual Magneto stuff like crossup boxdash j.B, A+C into sweep, air turn stuff, etc. I haven’t explored air tech options so much but I’ll be sure to make a video once they’re solid. I tend to not favor resets that don’t work for all possible tech options.

You might not be hitting the j.c fast enough. You can press any jumping normal as soon as you do the back turn action in the air. So for example when I’m in orgia mode, I do IAD a+c, then immediately press j.c as I’m coming down from the air dash. Make sure you tap the forward on the air dash so that she will do an arc on the way down or else you’ll end up flying away from the opponent.

You have some time after the J. C. to input connect Megido, so you shouldn’t really need to mash.
How the fuck do you punish Kanji’s little chair jump? I’m getting blockstringed into oblivion by the dude.

so yeah you could always DP afterwards just don’t be predictable with this
if this part of his auto-combo you IB>DP the 2nd hit of the auto combo

Officially joining Team Aigis, had a rough start but she takes a minute to learn her movement. I haven’t seen one online since week 1 though T.T
Taught I get some disscution going since it has been a while. How do you guys combo into orgia mode? I have been doing the same week 1-2 combo and it’s not cutting it. The combo itself is in a video in this thread and it’s impractical considering that you have to start with her abysmal 5A. Any help would greatly appreciated.

that only combo route to take from normal to orgia mode
it could start from the following
Low Airdash j.C>land>j.A>jc>j.A>j.B>j.2B>5AA
214A/B>Dash>5AA
CH j.C>land>5AA
etc etc etc
I still use 5AAA>jc>j.B>22A/B for the fact it give enough meter for a double megido for the next combo
But I usually just activate raw orgia then go-in these days
That is the only combo I really use because of the meter as well, but in a world of Mitsurus and Teddies, land that 5A can be pretty hard to land. Doing raw orgia gets me hella punished most of the time so thats not a great option either. I usually DP on wake up to change to orgia mode, however, I can’t rely to much on it since the opponent might block and punish.
hmm I usually just back airdash away when the round starts
if my opponent air-dashing forward or just rushing forward I do a j.2B in which most the time knocks them down which gives me enough time to activate orgia
if my opponent is fullscreen away 2B>22A/B is common route I take and sometimes with 5D active
in some cases 2B can beat mitsuru’s droit start-up
how about doing in a middle of blockstring
like 2A>5B>5C
or 2A>5B>2AB mits can DP react to this lol
funny story about activating/deactivating during a blockstring sometimes I happen to find myself able to bait someone because of this like naoto/Teddie/yukiko/chie/kanji etc except for Mitsuru/Yu

if all fails SB Mode Change is always an option
From my experience, converting off j.C is super important for comboing into Orgia. That conversion is super sick too. I only do 5AAA>jc>j.B if I don’t have 25 meter, if you have 25 just mode change and get the damage right there.
The blockstrings like 5AA>5B>5C>5B>5C are super awesome for getting a safe Orgia.
What’s your neutral game like during non-Orgia/cooldown? I find myself getting rushed more than I should be and usually play footsies by using stuff like 2B, j.D, j.C for air-to-air hits, and doing sweep into 22B, then j.B into whatever. Using DP also occasionally to get me into Orgia and putting some distance in between. Don’t really like doing triple Megido also since it’s mad unreliable for me, lol.
