I need some help selling a valuable graphic novel

I hope my brothers here at SRK can help me out with this.

I recently bought a copy of “The Thing From Another World and Climate of Fear”

This is an ebay auction for a copy here: http://cgi.ebay.com/The-Thing-From-Another-World-and-Climate-Of-Fear_W0QQitemZ120337179045QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Nonfiction_Book?hash=item1c04a7a1a5&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116

Both Amazon and Ebay say that it is worth over $200.

Where is a good place where I can just sell it outright? Immediately would be best. I’d be willing to take $60 for it shipped right now.

It’s in pretty good shape, with no rips or folds, but a little rounding on the edges of the cover and a seem going down the side where the pages fold. It looks pretty much like the one in the ebay auction.

As far as the book goes it’s really good. Story is absolutely insane and hopeless. Much better than the movie I think.

Speaking of rare GNs.

I bought THIS at an antique store for $1.

mine’s not signed, but Peter Laird will sign any goddamn thing.

Is that really worth that much money? Just because someone’s listed it for $235 doesn’t mean someone else will actually pay $235. Keep an eye on that auction and see if the seller succeeds in moving it. I did a search for completed listings. The best thing I found was that someone sold a full run of 10 of the original Dark Horse issues for 10 bucks plus shipping. But I don’t really know too much about the collectibility of TRADES, BABY, so for all I know the collected edition is even rarer than the issues. Maybe Psycho Gorath can help you.

I did a little research and it seems like the individual issues are not that hard to find, but the trade was only printed once and in a limited run so it’s considered more valuable. It’s apparently one of the rarest Dark Horse trades.

I’m going to list this for $60 on a message board dedicated to The Thing and see what happens.
