Honestly, I think itll be like the one I posted earlier… I tweaked it a bit after getting some input from others. Now so its easier to do and does a tad more dmg. Its pretty much a base for most of his ground starting combos, until something really good comes out later on down the road that is worth it. I really love isedelica and his work. But pulling that in a match is kinda risky for Vergil. Accidently letting go of a roundtrip at point blank or some of his normals is not fun… But yeah, this BnB covers all bases imo.

getting lunar phase to hit on some chars is annoying (need to switch cr.H and st.H, or even skip it :/)

I was having a tough time with some of his cancelled links, but all of his combos are generally pretty easy to do and due to the slower timing, kind of easy to freestyle =)
I really love the spiral swords to high time loop. But it does seem character size dependent.
@Shine: I found it easier to hit that combo after super jump canceling, and finishing with a helm breaker rather than a j.S, unless you’re in the middle of the combo and you really do need that j.S groundbounce.

Has anyone else noticed that mashing Dimension Slash actually doing less damage with massing when the opponent is in the air? Sometimes mashing gives more damage and sometimes it does less. I’m guessing the extra hits can sometimes knock the opponent out of the attack area.
I had the same problem, and now I can get it every time using MH but not LM. What’s the reason for this?
You can only cancel High Time into Trick. So, when you input it as MH or LH the game reads it as you inputting the H to cancel into trick and cancelling that into Dimensional Slash.

If you input the hyper using QCF + L + M after high time, it won’t come out at all. You have to use M+H or L + H (or the 3 attack button if you use it).
Kind of awkward, been doing hypers with L+M from day 1 in marvel.

I’ve been able to mash out up to 1.3 Million Damage. Since your oppponent is in a crumple state you can walk forward a bit to make a easier connection to High Time. And if you have a xfactor to burn and wanna troll your opponent after Dark Angel do Helemt Breaker, High Time xxXfactor, Helmet Breaker, High time:h:(Trick) xxDimension Slash

Why is it impossible to get Spiral swords to high time otg to combo on normal characters? I was imagining the crazy possibilities before release then Isadelleca comes along and shows what can be done on big characters… sigh I want it to work so bad.
On another note, anyone have any devil trigger bnbs working? Preferably after rapid slash cross up? Been messing around, but haven’t found anything terribly interesting.
earlier today i was playing as vergil not doing anything special but when i tried to otg into dimension slash it just wouldn’t work is there something i’m not doing?

I was testing Vergil with what assists can work well with him since he only has one OTG attack, here was an interesting one with Deadpool’s Katana-Rama. I couldn’t recreate it with Sentinel’s Rocket Punch, Albert’s Samurai Edge, or some other ones that slipped my mind.

I got at least 600k and can even get to 800k if the slash and bang are placed well and mashed for more damage. I wish I was able to record it.
this is false. you can do high time to hyper with L+M.
So I’ve got my Day 1 BnBs for Vergil down for the most part and I just have 2 questions.
1: What are my fellow Dark Slayers coming up with for combos off of air throws? Vergil being a reset heavy character I intend to play him as such and lack combo extending assists. Most of my damage with him(starting on point) is coming off of mix ups into +450k meterless combos and air throws into roughly 400K 1 meter combos. Is there a more optimal air throw combo floating around?
2: WTF is the timing on the round trip in those sexy isadelica combos off of Rising sun> mini air series? I’ve been practicing it for hours and its still pretty much random. Any visual or audio cues I should be looking for?
