Thanks man. I have one more idea for an EVO shirt. I was thinking of doing an EVO world tour shirt. Kind of like a band tour shirt with all of the events and dates. Unfortunate for me, my laptop crapped out on me and i won’t be able to do it anytime soon. I also have one MvC3 shirt idea. Lemme show you.

Anytime working with the Evo logo, please do not touch the color scheme or logo layout at all.
Gotcha. I saw a cool QR code shirt where the upper right fourth was red for the heart. That’s where I got the idea from. It’s an easy fix, but I won’t be able to fix it right now. Not until I get my computer back at least.
Also remember to never steal your logo from an Italian automobile manufacturer and claim it as your own. Oh wait.
Not sure if that’s directed at me or Mr. Wizard, but every time I see a set of diamonds lined up like that, I always think of Evo. And I see that diamond pattern often.
Now that the Evo Tournament Series dates have been announced, I started working on sort of a “Band Tour” T-shirt. I’ll post it up when I’m near finished, opening it to some critiques!

Damn, making a world tour shirt for a fighting game tournament is pretty tough for me.
I need some suggestions on the designs, fonts and colors. Funny enough, if the shirt is a blue color, you have a cool Chun-Li looking color-scheme.
Not really diggin the 2nd one. But the first is pretty nice.
And I dont know why you cant change the color of the logo
Yeah. Not really getting how to make the second one pop either.
It’s pretty tough to think of a design for something like a tournament when you’re talking about a world tour.
I’m deffo gonna change the front graphic. I have a few ideas in mind for that already.
How about something like a world map with small markers of every tournament location? It would help the “World Tour” idea a lot.
Or maybe something like http://www.gerweck.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/76258X.jpg that shirt’s front font style. Could be a grey shirt with white text and a hint of blue.
You know, I’m rambling about these ideas, and they all look fucking amazing in my head, but not having artistic talent really hinders the goal here. ):
And yeah. I guess it’s because it’s Evo’s logo, but they mess with that stuff on every shirt every year.
And let me just say, I’m not looking to really sell these shirts. Just trying my creative chops, so that should be okay, right?
I’d buy that shirt.

Okay so that’s like a million times better. Still room for improvement tho.
For example, I need to figure something out about the tournament dates on the back. They need to look small enough to fit on an okay sized area on the shirt, but large enough to be readable.

So after three very different designs of this idea, I think this is the best one I’ve made so far. Honestly, it won’t get any better than this. I think I’m done with this idea.
Make the front with the Street Fighter II world map
I actually tried doing it with SFII Turbo’s map on the SNES. They take some really drastic artistic liberties with the earth, lol.
