Would be incredible if you were able to make it to SBO. You could’ve done the US coverage with GloveGirl. Seems like the SBO staff is open to international media coverage from the e-mail responses she has received. They are specifically interested in video coverage. I’m sure they would have had no issues with you filming. I think it would have completed the final cut perfectly. Oh well…

I watched this a few days ago, and I just want to give props for the good work. I definitely will be looking out for the full length version of the documentary.
I bet if Kara gets footage from Tougeki, that she will end up contributing it to this documentary. Or at least I’d hope so.

Watched a little of the doc last night. Loved it.

i watched the doc on wednesday. i enjoyed getting to know the players a little better. Joe sems pretty cool.
I also watched it with a non sf playing friends, they all got bored stiff after 20 mins and stopped watching. unfortunately i don’t think this mini doc appeals to people who don’t already know the scene, and so i don’t know how successful the maker can view this work.
the trailer was beyond awesome, really i like watching the first bit before the 8-bit music kicks in. Can i ask if you had the music composed or whether you had to buy the rights? Where did you get the music. Well done though on the finished product, i know how much effort goes into making a film.

if there is extra footage that won’t make it on the film because it won’t be coherent, imo you should have an extras folder with the whole film. i’d like to see interviews and all that.
