t1bz, a lot of the Gimlet-related tactics in your writeup don’t work too well if Hawkeye does super scatter instead.

That’s true, but you can easily tell which super he’s doing during the super freeze. If you see that it’s super scatter instead of gimlet, you can just block instead of trying to punish.

Every instance in which you recommended “random goddess bracelet” is a free super scatter.

when akuma hurricane kicks, just advance guard and then go for the crouching medium, which will lead into a combo. but, advance guard after like 2 hits of the hurricane kick hits you,because he has cool down lag and arhurs crouching medium has alot of range.

Wasn’t quite sure where to put this, because it isn’t really matchup specific, but I have recently run into a problem when fighting my buddy who plays nova/frank/wesker. I run arthur on anchor, and my training partner has become a PRO at pushblocking my chip damage. He can consistently negate all of the chip damage from xf3 gold lances. just a side note, normally I don’t armor up against him unless he’s spent his x-factor, but it didn’t matter this time. In the 50 games that we played today, the only time arthur got any kills was from goddess bracelet chip, but it takes FOREVER to kill a character this way. Even when i give up on chipping him out, Arthur can’t do much for chasing people down. :frowning: any tips?

Tried spacing out the interval of lances, or tried mixing up the projectiles? Cancelling a super-jumped air S on the way up with the crossbow then landing for another special is also nice.

what gangie said. you can super jump into fire bottle, jump>dagger,(make sure the 3rd dagger can hit him even if he crouches) and slowly make your way in
