I swear my pants were flying at half-mast when she said “I can’t control it!,” finally a character announcement where I love both… it’s been awhile. Still hoping for some Mega Man, Multiple Man, Venom or Doc Ock love, but for now I’m sated.
When she becomes Dark Phoenix, she does like a “burst” (mega phoenix crash) and you can see Dante is still reeling from his normal. Not to mention her life goes from 0 to 100% instantly unlike Gill.
Her defence is ass, but she has a healing super? Dark Phoenix life drain doesn’t take red life? I think low defence is a good trade when you can have unlimited life.
Impossible to say… though power up hypers like Dante and Arthurs freezes their timers (which resumes when tagged in) and powers up their assists… I’m hoping that means her life drain is paused too…
I really hope they change that cause that was the only plan i had against this bitch was snapping her in and killing her early because you know everyone is gonna have her as thier last character
Upper hop, the execute level three after being pushed back. Bye bye health. Goal is to kill the freak as quickly as damn possible. Or just slow her down with Ammy and block the burst then beat the shit out of her.
good phoenix play will consist of testing your opponents endurance. with the right stock, she’ll force you to kill her as quickly as possible otherwise have long drawn out matches
-5 supers = resurrection OR 5 healing supers (better IMO)
-she can build meter while in healing mode
-x-factor + phoenix = more healing and damage boost
i say put her 2nd not last after the best battery in the game. this broad will not die under the right circumstances. i also like that she has Storm-like qualities.
Ha ha, yeah well, she may not be a ninja, but she has tits and fire. That is also good. She does look fun though. It’s going to be a mad scramble to regain health, tag her out, tag her in etc.
This of course assumes her life won’t regen like normal assists do if she is dark Phoenix due to life loss as well as assuming she can turn dark anytime she dies as long as you have the meter
I think Phoenix will handle this team well. She is fast and teleports. She can get anywhere she needs to be. She looks cool and I can’t wait to try her out.
