nah, not gay just happy he stuck around (his character) nothing more. it’s cool to man up & appreciate a gay character role in this series. I have much respect for gay people who are tough as him. I remember a buddy of mine when I worked at porn ship was tough like him & would squabble with punk asses whom we later 86 from the shop for doing drugs. there was a time during my off days where he beat the shit out of some dood selling crack from one of the booths & only had a slight mark on his face, sort of like bruce lee from enter the dragon final fight scene with claw. shit was bonkers.

why not care? i for one, like many here I’m sure, miss him. He was the True Spartacus though Liam is cool, he grew on me & am grateful they chose someone almost alike. Still waiting for his documentary to be released though i Think it already is. I recall Manu doing a chant along with various others from the cast an ode to Andy to commemorate him. that was thoughtful & touching

i feel thats how spartacus started as well but it has become so much more than that. Im interested in seeing how they portray davinci’s genius and seeing gadgets and inventions. If they do those things well it will probably keep me watching. No harm in giving it a chance.

Well so far, Da Vinci has me hooked (first episode leaked for those interested). I can’t comment if it will be great but it will do as a replacement since Spartacus couldn’t continue forever of course.

::sigh:: can’t believe it’s over. the finale was everything i thought it’d be but at the same time everything i was hoping it wouldn’t. after reading geo’s link i’m convinced there was no other way it could have or should have ended.

i think i can say spartacus is my second favorite show of all time behind the shield. it has illicted emotions out of me that no other show has done. it started as just an excuse to see gratuitous violence and softcore porn but the writing, andy, and especially john hannah (batiatus) made it something special. it took awhile but i’ve finally accepted liam in the role. he did an incredible job in the finale (and has done so the entire season). i will miss this show so much.
