Fucking 10/10 episode. I could not have asked for anything more.
In a single episode, Crassus has become one of the most intriguing antagonists of the series. And that’s saying a fucking lot! He was written perfectly, he was played perfectly. God damn, I can’t wait to see more of him.
Liam finally seals the deal with Spartacus. He’s finally matched Andy’s ferocity, and I can completely accept him in the role.
Naeeeevia is seeeeexy as fuuuuuck now! Lovin’ the new look!
I don’t wanna spoil shit for people that haven’t seen it, but god damn, it fucking delivers on all fronts!
I hope so. I really liked the first two seasons, and it was’nt the new guys fault but the story was not as compelling as before. Plus, no Roman mansion full of bare titties all day either.

ive honestly had this belief that paul phoenix was based on him, ive kinda seen a similar style in the hand movements, just added more throw/trip techs.
Enjoyed the premier. First episode built up cassius awesomely. Who could have predicted david Archuleta would go from american idol to being in spartacus though? The new chicks arent as hot as the previous ones. Sura ilythia gaia > slave chick and whoever that blonde wife was. I forgot agron was a homo. His relationship seems too similar to barka’s though. After rewatching season 1 I just dont see mcintyre hold up to whitfields spartacus. I dont see how cassius training with some old dude (even though he was a champion) will prepare him for any of the big 3.
Episode 1 didn’t really bring it for being a series finale.

Yeah I thought everything started somewhat slow. And Saxa wasn’t good for shit except a forced sex scene.
But hey, the season will pick up up like it always does.

That first episode was sick as fuck! Crassus seems like a very awesome main villain so far.

I’m pretty much happy about Mcintyre at this point he seemed to have improved immensely for this final season. He’s more imposing than before.
Ilythia was the only really hot chick from before, and now that’s saxa so I’m happy.
I actually didn’t find Ilythia very attractive. Maybe it was the gobs of make-up and ridiculous hairpieces. I fancy Mira, though. I’m also way more into brunettes than blondes.
Sexy Saxa finally getting fully down ‘n’ dirty. I like how her body is tight and fit as all hell but still has teh boobage. Like some Marvel comic heroine.
But back to the plot.
Crassus seems destined to be the man to finally best Spartacus. He’s cunning, but not too cunning as to undermine his thirst for actual battle. He has a big ego, but not TOO BIG that he won’t respect Spartacus as a man to be feared. He carries honor not in name, but in principle. He’s like the man his fellow Romans always acted like, but never actually were. B.A.N.s
Anywho, I think the older slave gal is actually that li’l twerp’s biological mother, and Crassus’ wife is more like a political figurehead like Hilary to Bill Clinton (lovin’ dem interns). Crassus’ philosophy towards slaves seems to reflect this “attraction”.
And yes, Liam’s Spartacus finally looks and acts the role. Kudos to him.
Still, heavy is the head that wears the crown, now Spartacus might have to spend some extra time politicking to the ungrateful masses who’ve just been freed from bondage, just to maintain morale.
