you should check your area on craigslist for sales. i bought an SFxT Pro stick for $70 bucks, brand new. replacing stocks parts on a brawlstick or hori v3 with full sanwa can add a good $40. also its better to get an xbox 360 stick if you’re playing on a PC. alot of non-intel motherboards can’t read PS3 TE’s even with the motionjoy software. you have to buy a special VIA USB add-on card which is another $20
I want to amend that statement. Only the older Round 1 and Round 2 Mad Catz TE and the original SE for the PS3 had this issue. The newer Stock of Mad Catz Sticks do not have PC compatibility issues.

yeah keep using the pad. keep an eye out of craigslist, people are always dumping sticks for around $70 http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/vgm/3937597477.html like that one there. just be sure to buy the xbox 360 stick for compatibility with the pc. you can always dual mod later for around $20 with a fightpad pcb and DPDT switch.
Extra cool thing about the noir layout on the SCV stick is the buttons and the joystick are a bit further apart. The viewlex layout is far too cramped.
