whoever commented me on this “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_E3n0hZZug” thats balrog numb nuts.
This is ST Mr. nuts.
ran into an arcade machine at Fry’s in city of industries
they had street fighter champion edition… no quaters needed
played on that machine for like 30 minutes for free… people passing by seeing the old schoolness of ST and tried to play me against my Ken…
Whooped them sick!
thats exactly what i’m saying, whoever commented that on my rep, didn’t even put the right game or character in. newbs be hating here.
Someone negged you and put this video in the rep comment ?
I did alittle researching myself, and R3ko’s right, CE and HF do have the exact same Hadouken speed, so I’m willing to admit I screwed up on my statements. Now I might have to evaluate on say that CE. Ryu might actually be the best Ryu after all. However Aerial Hurricane Kick has it’s gem uses and moments.
Turbo 0 Speed - Frames of Hadouken speed for Ryu
World Warrior - 14 - 39
Champion Edition - 11 - 39
Hyper Fighting - 11 - 39
Super - 11 - 39
SuperTurbo - 12 - 40
Although Super has the same Hadouken speed, he has lost the priority from his hurricane kick and all the other goodies his CE/HF counterpart has. ST. Ryu’s 1-extra frame makes such a huge difference in his zoning abilities.
Anyways, read a few post back of people talking about CE. Bison, seriously, he’s good, but he’s not invincible, if your playing a Shoto, or Guile, this matchup is alot harder for Bison to win. Sure, he can kill you off with one c.lp, c.mp or scissorkick, however up against those characters, he needs to get in first.
Had a session yesterday, and learnt a couple new things about the game.
Ryza got a massive win streak with WW/CE Honda. He was just beasting, eventually though i took him off when i choose CE Ryu. His chop (standing HP) is godly, if timed right. Also after a bearhug he gets random crossup with the splash (jumping MK). If it crosses up you can combo in standing close HK for 3 hits which will have a good chance of dizzying. If it doesn’t cross up you can still combo in the standing HK on some characters. Also allows for mind games, since the opponent doesn’t know which side you’ll land they they will probably try to block, if successful, just bearhug again after the splash. If you want to dizzy the opponent more and slighty more damage then pick WW Honda, but if you want a consistent HHS and a reversal headbutt pick CE.
I got abit of win streak with WW Blanka, his jumping light kick is godly too. Too easy to dizzy your opponent and just bait loads of moves out to punish. His crouching MK was really good for footsies aswell.
I just got ST: HF for XBLA… and I have no idea wtf I’m doing. Can I have some help/tips please?
At least enough to beat the freaking computer…
E. Honda vs. Ryu
Hadohadohadohadohadoken! What are you supposed to do about that?
AI is a B****. Get some comp and play with other people.
BTW, your av rocks my socks off.
Longshot, it would help if you told us what version of Honda your using.
Anyway, results of Summer Showdown 2007 (big UK tournament) are over, i managed to steal 4th place mostly with WW Blanka, that character is too many jokes.
WW Blanka? Cool. Any vids from the event?
yeh, they they should be ready in a week or so.
I was using Street Fighter: Hyper Fighting Honda. Yes, I’ve come to realize the AI is utter Bull. I hear Guile and Dhalsim are top tier. Why is that/how would I play as them?
what is guile’s best version? what are the pro’s and cons of each. and mainly, super turbo vs champion editon? which guile is better
ce guile…
smaller moveset, cant tech throws(compared to st guile).
more damage, different (sometimes better) normals, higher dizzy potential, sonic boom may have less recovery(idk).
Epsilon nailed it
its not an improvement, it just cheats. It move reads and increases its own damage and defence. Its just annoying to deal with. It’s the same ai that st uses.
It’s the AI that basically all SF2 games used, the higher the difficulty, the more damage the AI can do, and the less damage you yourself can do against them. Not to mention they can execute no-charge moves and do the most ridiculous of things. However learning their pattern’s ='s you>>>AI.
Shit…if I could do instant/No Charge SB’s like the AI…I would’ve been a Guile player since Day 1 :lovin:.
Palm tree
Does anyone recall the palm tree located in Sagat’s stage in WW ?
Well any reason why this is left out in the game?
It was taken out from WW due to the fact that it would block you when you where in a heated matchup, it was extremely annoying and distracting.
