“A woman mistakenly shot her husband in the chest this morning after he triggered the burglar alarm at their home in west Fayetteville, police say.
The shooting was reported about 10:14 a.m. on the 1100 block of Christina Street, off Cliffdale Road in the Farmington subdivision.
Police said Tiffany Segule, 27, was asleep when her husband, Zia Segule, 28, activated the alarm coming inside.
Zia Segule, a soldier, had left the home earlier to report to work, said Officer Antoine Kincade, a police spokesman.
He returned home with a breakfast food and triggered the alarm when opening the door.”
I hope they have children soon. I could only imagine the genius in the genes of a woman who shoots into a closed door before simply asking if it was her husband. I mean, shes right, there is no way someone could trigger their own alarm, so thats every reason in the world to fire into a closed door first, then ask questions later.
Good for her. Now pop out some babies, we need more intelligent people in this world, raised by upstanding parents, so us dummies can fall back and let them clean up our mess.
So you saying the guy shouldn’t have said, “Honey it’s me! Sorry about the alarm.” Both sides messed up. But the husband knows there’s a gun in the house, knows he tripped the alarm. More blame is on him.
