Humpski's Home Made Fight Scenes (Please Critique!)

Hey all.

I thought maybe you guys would enjoy these fight scenes that I’ve made over the past few years. They are certainly not hollywood quality, but I tried my best.

I’m looking for lots of constructive criticism if you guys care to take the time and comment here or on youtube. I can use any advice you guys give to make my future projects better.

Thanks!

The Master Disaster:
Never sleep with your Sensei’s daughter

The Brawl:
My real life Father beats my friends and I to a bloody pulp. Child abuse!

Snow Angel Square Off:
Don’t intrude on a man’s snow angel patch.

The Cursed Woods:
Zombies, Martial Arts, Gangsters, Hillbillies! Oh My!

The Nudy Police:
This one is just weird…

The Battle:
Two guys battling in the woods for seemingly no reason.

The Battle Part II:
Losing guy from Part 1 heals his wounds and comes back for revenge.

The Showdown:
This one isn’t very good. I only post it because I do a crappy imitation of K’s “Chain Drive” Desperation Move that’s kind of amusing.

These two are a bit different. They aren’t full on fight scenes, but they still contain some of our better fight scenes in them. They are a parody of the Super Sentai types shows. Kamen Rider specifically.

Gei Ridah:

Gei Ridah Part II:

And here’s a bonus video. A fake movie trailer that in my opinion is some of our better work technically speaking.

The Gauntlet:
Fake movie trailer about a super power armored glove.

Thanks for watching all, assuming you chose to do so. I look forward to hearing what you guys thought! We’ve got lots of other videos on our channel if you are interested.

Very cool.
I can’t do camera work like that.

You guys do martial arts?

I do. Yeah. (I’m the one wearing a leather jacket in most of those videos.) So does my Dad but he’s only in one of those videos.

Nobody else does though so I have to coach them.

No one has any advice on how to improve my future works?
Should I even do future works? Or is my stuff in fact pretty lame?

I really thought at least a couple people would be amused by these… guess not.

lol i loved most of those man. looks like you guys had alot of fun making them too!

lol@your dad kicking the bucket

Hey, thanks!

Was very entertaining really liked them all and especially the trailor for the Gauntlet I give it all two thumbs up.

cool…kudos…

really like the angles on a lot of the kicks…especially in that zombie redneck one…

good job

Very cool. Me and my friend always use do make up martial arts scenes when we sere young. That was about 25 years ago so we had no video camera. I would suggest watching some professionally made movies and try to imitate some of the techniques. More speed would make it more realistic.

This is a very good start and I enjoyed all. Keep it up and this could become a career for you as a director.

Haven’t checked on this thread in a while.

Thanks guys!
I haven’t actually done one of these since my brother smashed me in the face by accident. Lotta blood…
