Here’s my thought. I’d love for someone more scientifically versed to answer me back or correct me.
Cloning as it stands is using copied strands of your DNA, extracted from yourself, to make the copy.
One of the reasons that inbreeding is bad for our species is the defects in our individiual genetic makeup. If we have two highly similar people breeding, which is next to impossible to have happen in a incestual relationship, then the result is a weakened DNA strand, because there is no unique DNA to “cover up” so to speak, the defects of each DNA. Even with unique individuals, if there’s defects in a certain area, then it becomes harder for the child to not possess the same problem.
So honestly, cloning is, in essence, unethical and bad for the species even from a secular standpoint, as it should, in theory and in practice, weaken the species as a whole.
Not talking master race theory or anything when I say weakening the species. I’m just saying that cloning would weaken us more than us carrying about with natural, non-incestual conception would.
Wouldn’t it be okay as long as you’re not fucking a clone of your sister? I don’t really get what you mean.
On an all-time, top 10 list of things that are out the ass with unethical-ness?
Yup. Human cloning is one of them. Right up there along with the likes of continuing Bleach after Aizen was defeated and it was clear the writers are officially out of good ideas(Yay, two swords…series revitalized…yawn).
the movies explains why cloning isnt good idea, cloning scarlett johanson is the only ethical thing:
