Okay maybe so but if im correct his standing H beats it once the invincibility frames are gone.Yeah maybe his Gamma crush can beat it but if you could time it with a good assist help you could get two easy clean hits.
Bionic arm is one hit, standing H has one point of armour, standing H beats bionic arm, so does gamma charge, and gamma crush, calling an assist won’t help unless it’s Haggar assist maybe, other then that you’ll get happy birthdayed.
Hulk shits on Wolverine, in fact Hulk does well against any rushdown team in general, a good Hulk doesn’t even have to be cautious around Zero because all it takes is one well timed gamma charge, standing H or gamma crush and Zero is dead. when fighting a good Hulk, YOU are the one who has to be careful about pressing buttons, not the Hulk player.
Anyone who uses the Hulk effectively knows that we want our opponent to challenge us in a game of pokes, normals and random hypers, and the more mindless they are, the better IMO.
Very true only this is i have used Wolverine and since his pokes are great i happen to break Hulks armor easily.Now i don’t main Wolverine,Lets get this straigh Hulk is good only with a good Assist.I happened to have played many Hulk players with great assist and manage to take them out easily with Vergil’s Spiral Sword.The Spiral Swords rip out Hulks armor in seconds before the match even begins,Spiral Swords with some great Mix-Ups/Cross Ups and i have Hulk down,Yes his health is great but with some unpredictable Resets and he down.It all goes down to how good the Hulk player is,If he has good assist and keeps it safe he might just be able to win.Basically the best way to beat him is attack in-between assist.But since i use Vergil its easier for me it depends on the player.

@Zen Razor the problem is most Hulks are pretty scrubby, to be honest hulk needs one of four assits to be good. RR spitfire, sent drones, Doom missiles, and Strange bolts. Hulk needs these to gamma charge safely. Gamma charge (both ground and anti air) in my oppinion is the best special in the game. It is very fast, incredible hit boxes, and have armor. Hulk will be able to almost stuff everybodies normals, and special on start up (depends on spacing but works very well against all the cast). The problem is the only way this works is when people press buttons. You can just block and you are pretty safe. Also different gamma charges means you have to do different things like ground gamma charge don’t push block unless some assist is following it because it can be punished bay any bodies crouching L. Gamma charge anti air, or assisted ground Gamma charge you should push block both because you can’t punish them. The push block moves Hulk away and then you are safe. That is a what good hulks do bad ones just charge with no assist or spam H block them and get and easy punish. Just remember both strategies require you to try attacking. So wait and punish hulk when he makes a mistake and you will never be scrubbed out.
Hulk needs Cable AAA, and Sentinel Drones to be remotely good.

Exactly i think everyone can be great with any team but thats why is game give you the ability you use 3 characters to have your team back you up of thats not how i see it i use a team depending on how i like the characters but not everyone is the same.So Hulk is good just not to many good hulk players out there.Thats why we barely see any tournament gameplay of hulk

Funny because i have a easier chance of beating Wesker than Hulk.I use Wesker so i don’t belive in that Level 3 Comeback not that it can happen but still he’s much easier to fight a Hulk player is annoying because they rely so much on Armor and so are Hagger players at least wesker teleports all Hagger players do is Lariat 24/7 and if the miss cancel to special and it makes them look like fools.
Online Hulk is the only Hulk worth complaining about, then again I play Ghost Rider and Tron

Hulk is a cheap **** indeed. That super armor might as well be invincible 80% of the time.
In a game like MVC2 where character attacks were faster, one stood a decent chance of quickly knocking someone out of an armored move. UMVC3 however, character movements are slower. By the time the second hit is coming out, Hulk is already a smashing you in the face.
Then you have this game’s broken option select properties. So a Hulk player can just stand in your face and mash :f:H all day long. They’ll either hit with H attack or throw you instead.
Or maybe you can just not press buttons in front of the Hulk like an idiot. Just block him and dodge him until you see an opening. If you can’t get away from him, then it isn’t because Hulk is too good. The player is just better than you. And for the :h: / throw option select? Chicken guard and push block at the right time.
