They aren’t, it’s more of a habit I carried over from learning Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. Sorry.
Don’t apologize, it’s not a negative connotation. it’s great to see people explaining themselves in unique ways that actually provides accurate description rather than letting the information get lost in the translation.
Imo, the best thing to do is learn and get used to just OS’ing the FADC/followup as mentioned. just “623+P neutral 623+MP+MK.” I’m not sure if that’s the proper notion, but at least that’s how I do it. If I’m wrong please correct me.
However, if you’re so intent on mashing (which I highly suggest you do not do), you can just mash 23,23,23,… and P,P,P,P, etc. As long as you don’t input 6, the super won’t come out.
Edit: Mashing this is easier on a square gate arcade stick since the corners are more defined. On a circle/octagonal gate stick or a dpad, it’s easier to accidentally get the 6 input.
I would recommend you go with learning either the FADC OS or to simply delay your followup DPs.
i dont understand, what is this OS supposed to do?
It’s basically
>did they do something?
Full DP, mix up attempt.
>did they block?
Chip damage, FADC, mix up attempt.
Because it doesn’t need a fix? You know your supposed to wait a second after the 1st dp (till he’s off the ground!) to motion the 2nd dp right?
“ALL” Seth players have this problem you say? Not once I have seen either Poongko, Onlinetony, or Hiropon ever make this mistake. These other Seth players you speak of obviously have no clue what they are doing.
The third srk doesn’t need any stick movement if done straight after the second, also you don’t need to go back to :f: for the second srk:
:f::d::df::p::d::df::p::p: is how I’ve always done it (without os), never any problems.
