HRAPEX Frustration

I’ll start this off by mentioning the obvious: I’m no technical wunderkind, but a few quick disconnects shouldn’t be a problem. What is a problem is that for the life of my I can’t figure out what too I need to pry off these stupid little rounded heads that are keeping me from removing the screws and getting into my HRAPEX to replace the Hori buttons with my new Sanwa buttons. What tool do I need to get into this thing?

are you talking about the top panel ? those you have to take off through upening the bottomside

I see. I could never find a video that showed anyone doing anything to the bottom of the stick, so I assumed that I needed some kind of esoteric tool to remove the top panel.

use this, works for the ex too

Phillips screwdriver + 7mm nut driver.

comes off thru the bottom. poor design from a convenience perspective. i plan on swapping the studs out with screw for ease of future mods.

you can also cut out the plastic from the bottom of the stick, that way all you have to do is unscrew the bottom panel, i did this with my old hrap cos i changed stuff in it alot

thanks for the link
