Marvin has been around since forever. His fundamentals alone put him leaps above most others. These tournaments are geared towards people who sf4 is there first game.

I played C-royd 2 weeks ago…He hadn’t even played 2012 once and said the last time he did well at a tournament was in vanilla. His fundamentals? 3s and ssf4 are drastically different games. He is definitely more of a 4 underdog than tactix and nick cam (who aren’t underdogs at all) and should be allowed into this tournament 100%. Tactix is actually a good player…i’m pretty sure he did fairly well at t12 (17th or something) and has top 2’d a tournament? I really don’t see why he would be allowed and not C-royd.
well let me start by telling you why you are wrong. If you had bothered asking for an underdog criteria, we are only letting in people who started in 09 (with sf4), so that alone removes c-royd from the equation. Furthermore, his understanding of footsies and spacing due to years of playing can be perfectly applied to this game so dont give me that shit.
Did you know nickcam hasnt played the game since vanilla mvc3 came out? even when he had been playing he never placed that high. Tactix hasnt placed high since vanilla which was also his first game.
As a judge and someone who actually grinded hard in this game at one point, it is fucking shocking and disappointing to watch how people treat this tournament. I have never seen so many people argue and debate being called “too good” in my fucking life. Stop looking for a quick buck people, good lord.
Lastly corry, why the hell are you so concerned with who in your opinion should be let in and who shouldnt? Am i letting in any people im “friends” with? Nope, pretty sure only people from loo are luis joshgetshype and tik and i dare you to debate any of them. I am using my best judgement on who fits into the criteria and am getting pretty sick of all the whining from random people about who is being let in. You think I gain anytihng from answering all these posts and helping to go over the people posting? Do you think I have any gain on who wins or gets top 3 5 or 8? Pretty sure I have about 20 other major real life things on my plate but im still helping out. I dont speak for everyone running this tournament, but if you dont like or approve of whos being let in or how things are run, create your own tournament thread and run your own underdog tournament instead of waiting for people to create one for you and then criticizing and whining about everything
