How us noobs can avoid getting slammed

Please read title…

Do not give trouble to anyone in this community for making random posts or posts that were already posted there is almost no need for new posts if you need help with character specifics, anti- airs, special moves, “what character should I pick”, etc.

Use the search bar! If you have a question almost anything you’ll search will come out (that’s wat she said) of the search bar…

Noobs, try to avoid making new threads because there is no need, unless you absolutly do not see anything on your search results.

There is also a reason there is a character specific sub thread, also!

And I repeat There is almost all the help you have in the search bar

Please look at the sub- forums and utilize the search bar the best you can!!!

Ed. Hey mods, BBCode isn’t working here!

Actually I applaud Chaos for his attempts to try to “filter cyberspace”, but in actuality, its not really going to hold up too long. People BARELY read stickies and uphold those, so I wouldn’t expect anyone to even respect common courtesy post that makes perfect sense.

All we can do for the newcomers is educate them on how easy it is to navigate for information as opposed to starting their own discussion.

I mean, it takes the same amount, maybe less time to just search for your result as opposed to starting a thread and waiting for somebody to respond.

Also, ShoryukenWiki.com where?

Its too damn easy to create a thread.

Does it matter? There really is no harm in it. It just creates a hostile enviroment. If you don’t want to answer a question because you answered it 2 weeks ago in another thread, just don’t click on it. No need to be a jackass.

Now if the forums were so busy that active threads were being pushed off the main page to quickly, then sure, it makes sense to try and control new threads, but since thats not the case its really nothing more then elitist internet bullying.

Elitist internet bullying or Couteous Forum Etiquette.

Its all perspective.

How is being an uninformed noob considered rude?
