How to use razer atrox xbox one on pc! (probably works for te2 as well)

I spent an hour looking for the answers on google and couldn’t find anything but after some frustration i finally got it to work. Thought this would be a good place to share it!

STEP 1 download the XBOX ONE controller driver from site
http://support.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-one/accessories/controller-pc-compatibility

STEP 2 Connect your XBOX ONE CONTROLLER (NOT FIGHTSTICK) via mini usb to your computer and it should install the drivers for it. (Make sure you remove your atrox before installing)

STEP 3 Connect your RAZER ATROX to your computer and the drivers should install automatically

STEP 4 Enjoy

*******ps you’ll need to rewire the RT button with the RB button to have the standard 6 button layout. For some reason the driver doesnt seem to detect the triggers but luckily the box opens and it takes 5 seconds.

i have zero tech knowledge so dont pm me about this if it doesnt work for you; im just sharing what ive found in the hopes of helping others!

This isn’t anything that isn’t already known.

Also, ALL CAPS for thread titles is not allowed.

I have downloaded the driver and it works.
It was working ok in USFIV except RT(HK) and LT(Kx3) don’t work and RB(Px3) and LB(HP) are mixed up. Im confused!!!

HELP!!!

The driver doesn’t work with the triggers so you’ll have to re-map buttons.

how do I do that ?

move the wires from the LB button to the RT button. It’s a physical re-map.

Also, while I appreciate this thread, it has info in it that we all know about. I wish MS would update the driver already… seems like a MASSIVE oversight on their part.

So I installed the driver a month ago and I’ve been using the xbone pad on my pc but today when I plugged in the Atrox it isn’t detected. What gives?

EDIT: Figured it out. I ran the installer and selected the repair option, then I followed the steps listed in the OP.

I found a simple fix on the comment section of a YouTube video regarding a solution to a problem with Xbox One controllers on Windows 7 64 bit. The drivers provided fixed my Razer Atrox issues as well! Registered an account to post here since this was the first hit on my Google troubleshoot search.

“For those guys who own Windows 7 64-bit, you need to install those updates in the following list:
Update for User-Mode Driver Framework version 1.11 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2685813)
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38421
Update for Kernel-Mode Driver Framework version 1.11 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2685811)
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38423
http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1221529-xbox-one-controller-on-pc-windows-7-x64-ultimate-sp1/

Afterwards, just restart your PC, plug in your Atrox, and it should download all necessary drivers.

Happy Fighting!

Windows 10 is supposed to have full joystick support. Hopefully its not a buggy mess though :S
