thanks i watched it already though… im use"no homo" i think… also it only tells how to hold the stick … but what about the buttons? i thought im supposed to only press them with 3 middle fingers?
Whatever feels most comfortable to you. Personally, going by the keyboard, I’d map the A-B-C-D buttons as A-Q-W-E-R, reserving my thumb for the A button and a finger for each button.
oh ok thanks people! just wanted to make sure im not doing something wrong cuz i play wayyyy worse than when i use a controller . i guess its just like playing guitar hero for the first time haha :razzy:
You should hold the stick a little more closely so you don’t need to move so far to shift it around. The vid linked in the second post should be fine for that. Personally I use wineglass, with my palm pointing more towards the side than the top than in the video.
With regards to the buttons, for a four-button fighter like BlazBlue, having one digit per button is IMO the ideal. Don’t shift around, and don’t lift your fingers up so much. You want to press the button, not hammer it into the floor. For six-button fighters like SF you need to move around a lot more, but I’m not really the best advisor for that since I’m a MB/KoF/etc. player for the most part. I tend to have my thumb on LK, three fingers on the punches, and move the whole hand down for when I need MK/HK. I’m sure there are better ways, but it works for me.
Daigo goes all over the place with his fingers. Usually when you don’t think about how you are positioning your hands is when you do it right. If you play for a month or three, it should just click for you.
