This was posted earlier today and should be read by all who have problems and complaints with GGPO.

He forgot to mention that HDR also used somekind of pseudo GGPO, and that was garbage.

It wasn’t. You just didn’t use it properly, just like 99% of people who play 3s online, don’t configure ggpo properly to fit the gameplay experience they want. If you’re connection is week and you don’t like teleporting, you can increase the ggpo setting to use the same traditional input delay you find in SF4. If you have a strong connection and like being able to do things on reaction, your ggpo setting should be low.

Thanks for drawing attention to that message metric. I’m tired of these fools complaining about GGPO when they are playing on wireless dial-up while their siblings all stream Ray William Johnson videos. GGPO is the future.

He was listening to Circa Survive, thank you very much.

The hell? One of the strongest points in HDR was the netcode, HDR netcode swtill puts MvC3, MK9, and SFIV to shame.

What is Capcom’s fetish with having colors and bars instead of real, actual ping numbers

I mean my god

I think this is more fitting:
“I’m tired of these fools complaining about GGPO when they are playing on wireless dial-up while their siblings [S]all stream Ray William Johnson videos[/S] download porn.”

running aol through 33.6k modem, those were the days…

I still remember “NOOOO HANG UP THE PHONE!” and all the free trial discs.

Good times

I wish I could set my text message sound to “You’ve got Mail!”

I’m sure you can. Depending on your phone, carrier, and your google skills.
