i think they are Acrylic, they are certainly water based model paints.
Yeah you should be fine. When you start mixing two different types of paint that’s when you get into trouble.
They dry really fast when i used to paint warhammer, but you mean when you start to sand the balltop it can mix?
No. When you are painting(not applying clear) acrylics and enamels don’t get along at all. As long as you use the same type or paint, acrylic or enamel, you do fine. When it comes to clearing as long as the paint is dry you should have no problems.
Also don’t be in a hurry. It will take you about a week to completely finish one. Applying clear to quickly will result in bubbling and it’s a pain in the ass to remove. Just take your time.
Have you tried using spray paint? Maybe that would help smoothen things out even before clear. Not sure if it’s the paint or the clear that made that Blanka ball look so bumpy.
Speaking of Blanka balls, maybe a balled up blanka would be a good design.

Maybe, possibly, dunno. All I know is dude wants me to build the stick for him, and I’m not in the habit of giving customers bad news.
