Welcome to 2000!

I’m not that great a player, but if any of you wanna see really good demon setups that are hard to avoid, play me on xbox live (since we can’t play each other offline).
Dash demon is useful, but once people clock on it pretty much goes out the window unless you can zone well.
Kara demons will almost always connect. Once the opponents figure that out, they’ll do whatever necessary to keep you away. And once you do get in close, good players can tell when its coming (they look for empty pokes where the lp’s can be buffered) I’m saying this because my days of RD’ing pretty much every single player I know are almost over. For example, the ‘best overall demon trick’ mentioned previously was just that for me awhile ago - the best setup. Nowadays my better opponents jump straight after blocking the lk.
I’m not sure if I gave you guys this before, but here is a demon setup that will really surprise your opponents and get you kudos :bgrin: And in my opinion - its the best setup I’ve used. And its damn simple…
Anti-air demon. Just make sure you are CROUCHING when you enter the commands, and obviously down-forward instead of just forward. Time it so that they land into you. Its easier if you think of the two lp’s as something that JUST misses. The reason I find this so effective is, simply put, the opponents will ALWAYS try a jump in at some point or other. If you have your two meters, they’re screwed. And the opponent will just get ultra pissed cos of how he blindly fell into your trap. Screw them up mentally and you’ve pretty much won :bgrin:
Ya i kno that one, never jump in when see akuma player with 2 bars. SrWilson use to catch me back in day with that stuff :shake:
anti air RD is really good. it can even catch a crossed over ex airhurricane kick…and you don’t have to reverse the stick motion(towards).
That’s a sweet trick.
dude are you serious? ok, i dont mean to be mean or anything… but almost every single setup dosent work. and why do you dash jab, dash short and dash fierce so much? but ok… basically 4 min video of demons that dont work. You got a few dash demons and i saw a few nice setups… thats for sure. I liked the demon flip cancel into demon right in front of their face… but other than that, you need to work on those demons
LOL! don’t take this serious! the dash lp’s and hp’s were mistakes i waz tryna pull them off on xbox pad which is seriously hard (thats why der was mistakes) i can’t kara 4 life on that pad, it was first time testin my DVB card…this was just mess about as you can tell by the vid lol.

DH020, thanks for posting that ^^^^
BTW, a little bit earlier today I was tryna think of some different stuff with the demon and i was thinkin: d.mk, qcb+lk, mk (resets) demon.
Does that work?
i find it funny that NO one can get the following: jump in+fierce + (unknown) into demon (unknown being the one I have yet to see anyone mention at all, you know who you are)
No worrys man glad helped you out. I got go work in 15 mins but look my old post im gona make some updates on som of my reset demon set ups.
Unknown being walk up to them for a moment? Yeah, funny how I didn’t think of that one :xeye:
Guys, you gotta check this out!!!
!
Hey HarmoNaz, instead of doing the kara-demon after ticking them, you could always walk up and hp/split second delayed cr.lk, cr.lk/close mk > super (if hits) next time. That should keep 'em grounded and you can continue your offensive onslaught.
Directed at no one in particular:
Seriously, if anyone can pull off the demon on command, everything you do literally becomes a 50/50 situation in your favour.
It’s because there are countless ways to land a Raging Demon and if you’re proficient at mixing shit up, you will always likely to hit them with it when they least expected.
If they know you have full meter and is looking to avoid the demon (by jumping or something), it’s a good thing; just rush that shit down with Akuma’s array of devasting normals.
Standing hp/fierce is your best friend in these situations.
I love that move.
You guys need to check out the SBO qualifier ranbat at KSKvision, there are footages of an Akuma and Ryu player beasting on everyone. It’s a great watch and refreshing in that you don’t see much of the top tier characters in it.
Japanese Akuma players > *
Hey man, thanks for the advice.
Could you be a bit more specific on how to get this SBO qualifier vid you’re talking about? I think I know the one you are talking about, but I dont have a copy and would really like one.
Thanks
harmoNaz: http//gvision.exblog.jp if im correct =) you need bittorrent though.
Best way though is c.hk, if blocked… RD through that poke or dashin
I got this link too they post new stuff every month (its KSK’s website) this this months RB had pretty nice akuma (using my color lol)
Damn I usually check that site for the newest ranbats, but deffo missed this months one and that SBO thingy.
I just finished watching the SBO vid. Damn, Jiro and Ruu were on fucking fire!! Ruu is a bit inconsistent, but when he’s on form, he’s undoubtedly my favourite Ryu player. I copy him too much :bgrin: But Jiro did some fucking sweet shit with the demon flip that I have never tried or messed around with.
Back to training mode. Thanks for reminding me about the vids guys
Oh shit, and great games at the RB to Demon Dash who posts here every now and then
