What are the safe jumps after ultra.
are the combos of balrog possible on keyboard?im having trouble doing lp>lk>headtbutt>u1
They are possible, check out the Balrog video thread and look at any video by RopeDrink. Everything he does is on a keyboar, and pretty impressive, too. I can’t tell you how because I can’t do half the shit he does, and I play on a stick. But combos are definitely doable on keyboard, including headbutt to ultra.
the think is on keyboard u can hold left and right on the same time it is the reason why u can do ex upper loop with one c.lp.
@ tim tim: u dont do safe jumps with boxer when you hit ultra 1. in 4 years i never dit that boxer safe jumps only doing back throw or forward throw they are the best situations for safe jumps.

People are dumb and will ocasionnaly mash dp on wakeup.
If I safe jump I get a full punish like what do you mean “u dont do safe jumps with boxer when you hit ultra 1” that’s whack.
i never try it when i hit ultra i build up meter and i think it is better.

Well alright dude that’s fine and dandy but not everyone has the same mentatlity as you or wants to do that.
I personally think it’s only better in some situations.
What if I land ultra in the corner and have full meter why not safe jump?

The last one i had wrote down was Ultra, 1x backdash, 3x fwd.dash, j.hp/j.hk . I’m pretty sure this is iffy or doesn’t work. I don’t have any other notes as far as if this is off of a juggle or a grounded ultra (i think it makes a difference). If you find anything post here. I can find some time to verify eventually.

I will try some stuff and idieas today safejumps from ultra 1 and super.
Is it worth learning and trying to implement c.lp, c.lp, c.mp instead of c.lp, c.lp, c.lk? I’ve been trying to step up my Balrog combos and this seems like a LOT of work for relatively little payoff.
On that note, what advantages does using c.mp over c.lk actually give me?
Range, damage, stun, headbutt connects on blanka but for me the most important thing is range. I can’t recall how many times the range has saved me when punishing.
For confirms I’m using exclusively cr.mp post cr.lp and st.hk if it helps. It eventually becomes easy.
Thanks for the input. After trying it for a bit it’s not as hard as I thought it would be, but giving up a combo I can hit 99/100 times is going to be hard.
Follow up question: what do you plink it with? Having trouble deciding between lk and lp and I figured I’d ask.
plink with lp, you’re pointer and middle finger are not connected, IMO its a more natural motion plinking lp~mp . TimTim is correct about range, but there ARE some situations where cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.mp will connect, but cr.mp xx hp.hb WILL NOT connect on some crouching opponents. I think it has to do with a max distance cr.mp (e.g. if you were to do cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.mp xx hp.hb point blank with the opponent). lp.ds will always connect, ex.ru and hp.ds are maybes.
Best safe jump/setup off forward throw?? any suggestions?
I feel like I’m not getting enough out of a forward throw unless I’m in the corner(st.mp, nj.hp ~wiggle back)
