if you’re playing mtsac you know to expect nothing but random shoryus.
does a kara srk only apply if u land that hit or can u still follow another srk even if u do not get the hit?
usually when a kara srk is used you need a regular shoryu before to actually NEED to use a kara srk. So I’d say you need one to hit.

yeah it still comes out, you just can’t really tell its a kara srk cause you’re not hitting anything far away.
You can still tell it’s kara SRK even if it did’t hit anything.
Don’t get me wrong guys - but Ken dominates this match pretty easy. Watch Hirai VS Uraken and you’ll know what I mean. Watch tournament matches of me VS Ryan Hart or Waqs and you’ll know how I feel. Or even my casual matches against Matsuken.
If you’re having problem in this match - the akuma player must be a lot better than you in general.
Ken is faster. Has more health. His pokes are better. More hit confirm options. Very damaging SA on akuma. Air EX hurricane being one of the few moves in the game that would stop Akuma spamming air hurricanes. Punishing blocked hurricanes isn’t TOO hard - but even if you dont do that - the overall stats are still in your favour.
When I find a Jap match where Akuma beats ken, its like finding gold in my opinion.
it’s not that we’re having trouble with akuma’s I just wanted to make a parody thread of ray ramos’ how to beats whit hugo thread, and at the same time happened to find a somewhat useful little thing on the side. First post. After that, a few people just started asking general ken questions.
