As someone who recently discovered GGPO, I gotta share my newbie excitement with all of u. I got SFHD & its all good…
But the draw of GGPO, is more than anything on any console. You log on, instantly see everyone who’s online, “oh shit, afro legends is playing frijoles”, gotta watch that fight! Then u start up a game but forget inputs aren’t mapped so u ask for a restart & 10 second later, im on the ground… mop up whatever pride i got left & move on… ppl show up with the most offensive screen names I can think of, its fucked up, but you know what, there are always gonna be assholes out there, I assume ppl just stay away from em.
Sometimes it lags, mostly its smooth as silk, you chat up some smack talk end with gg & move on. Thats GGPO to me & the corporate controlled censored console experience pales in a sterile, fair, & deathly boring, comparison. /Sergjiev
