lol, i’ve only won about 275 matches. and mine is 9%. it was 24% before street fighter (because my team was good at left 4 dead and lots of people didnt like that). apparently people love me now!
i think its cause I suck at this game.
Same here, I had a very minimal avoid rating until SFIV. Last time I checked, it was 40-50% for unsportsmanlike conduct.
I too main Vega and El Fuerte, so I can understand the butt hurt.
Ironically, most people I’ve avoided on SFIV have been for honest reasons, most notably marking “too good” and “quit early”.
68% overall, 77% of that is unsportsmanlike, that’s from my Halo days.
I know MachineKing1313 is avoiding me because he knows my Sagat owns him for free (and I don’t even play this shit).

Actually, I remember your Sagat was so scrubby when I played you in championship mode, it wasn’t even worth using my main. I was just gonna pick Zangief and put my cellphone on the lariat button.
Go to your profile on XBL, click view rep. The best way is to hit the home button on your controller, then hit right a few times, then hit view profile, then hit view rep. You should see the percentage of people that avoid or prefer you.
Wow I have never checked my rep. 65% avoided. 14% of which was from ‘quit early’, which is funny because my D/C rate is 0%. The rest is from unsportsmanlike conduct. I never trash talk, I send GG messages/ compliments quite frequently (if they are good games that is) and I keep it all around positive.
Oh well, can’t win over everyone right? It seems like I can only win over about 35% of them haha.
Is this why so many of the games I try to join come back with ‘cannot play’ or whatever that message is?
It also makes me wonder what I am doing that aggravates so many other players…

12% for being aggresive 25% for unsporting and 12% for quit early, funny cause my disconnect ratio is 0% and i think most of the people who are avoiding me are just scrubs that i ve beaten
So it’s a XB Live only thing? I’m on PSN so I guess we don’t have this feature :sad:

I’m actually glad PSN doesn’t have this feature. sounds pretty cretinous just by what everybody’s saying. I do know a couple people at least who think they’re hot shit for beating me once after I talked some “smack” for beating them and will avoid/remove me from their lobby.

Yeah, PS3 does not have this feature. Originally the feature was meant to show your reputation with other gamers, which would be symbolized by the amount of the 5 stars you have. But it became clear that the stars could never be used correctly due to the misuse of the system so now the stars simply reflect the amount of time and players you have played XBL.
I had a guy named Cuthbert on my friends list. His main in Hyper Fighting was Sim. He was a tick throwing machine. His rep was half a star out of 5 lol. I gave him good rep once and it went to 1 star, but that didnt last. HF had a ton of sore losers when it came to xbla, I wonder what a good Marvel players rep looks like :looney:

to check how many are avoiding you you have to go into your windows/xbox live options, I forget where but toy around with it and you’ll figure it out

XBL should just dump the system, and put a simple block user feature instead.
Noticed some games had more people avoiding then others- never had a problem with VF, BB, or SNK stuff- SF stuff and SC the hatemail comes a plenty.
Could just be a function of the amount of casuals though.
