How Many Arcade Sticks Do You Own

1 - Hori Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 for PS3
1 - Hori Fighting Edge for PS3
1 - Madcatz Versus Series SH with a PS360+
1 - Custom Arcade Stick with PS360 with Sanwa JLF and Seimitsu buttons.

1x MadCatz TTT2 S+ (360) - Modded JLF (2lb spring, .5mm OS actuator, octo-gate, Link)Hayabusa w 2lb spring and Link, Sanwa OBSCSeimitsu PS-14-GN-C, custom art/plexi (Dogestick)
1x Hori SCV (360) - Modded LS-56 (3lb spring, Mahina ST gate)Hayabusa w 2lb spring, Aqua PS-14-G’s, custom art/plexi
1x MadCatz TvC (never used)
1x Hori FS3 (case only. waiting for the low pro stick from PAS as well as a couple of other things…like money and desire to build it.)

Building another TE-S case soon. Done and sold.

Sold or traded so, so many.

I have 2. MLG TE I got during NorCal I think for a good sale price (why else would I get such an ugly thing?), and a modded Madcatz BrawlStick which looks nothing like a BrawlStick anymore (thank Jesus).

I’m at two right now:
1 Hori Hrap VX-SA
1 old Hori FS-EX Dead or Alive 4 edition

I’m sure I’ll end up with a bunch more, I like arcade sticks WAYYY too much to just stay owning 2. After all, it’s not fair if the person on my 2P stick isn’t playing with sanwa parts… (not that I have anybody to play as a 2P)

I feel your pain. :frowning:

I’ll apply for membership to that club too. I’ve got a Qanba Q1 ā€œCutā€ with Sanwha buttons, a custom Hori VLX size Hitbox type controller, and 1 more ABC controller on the way. Too bad I live in a country with no people my age who speak my language, with throttled internet, and no ps3 community. I literally just prep and dream of the once a year I go back to the States to play with my friends.

5 with 2 more projects incoming:

3 customs: ps360+ / mc cthulhu to play ps2 / dc / pc + ps3/360 as needed.

1 te without a pcb, probably another ps360+

1 t5 stick modded, also pcb-less for the moment. Again probably another ps360+.

The two projects are going to be mas sticks for ps2/ dc only

p

2 Xbox 360 TEs - one is the SF4 female fighters special edition, the other is standard SF4 with a Seimitsu
2 Wii Sticks - one is a Hori, one is a Madcatz TVC stick with a Sanwa stick in it
1 Dreamcast Agetec stick, modded with a Sanwa
1 PS2/Xbox/GC Pelican, modded with Happ parts and an MC Cthulhu (so it runs on PS3, too)
2 Saturn Sticks - an ASCII and a Hori SS
3 Neo Geo - two stock original ones, plus one MAS Happ stick that also runs on PS2
1 Super NES ASCII stick
1 Genesis ASCII stick
2 Atari 2600 Wico sticks (plus one Starplex Asteroids controller, perfectly emulates the arcade panel)

I’ve added two more since:
1x Exar Exaprize USB Stick Sanwa Edition.
1x X360 Brawlstick, modded with (4716/MCC/Imp2)

But I’ve sold/selling several of them, and decommissioned/dismantled a bunch as well.

So this leaves me with:
1x custom Happ stick (ChImp SMD)
1x Wii Intec Combat Stick (with TvC stick and buttons, Exar PS3 PCB)
1x ABS Modular stick (PS360+, TvC PCB, SixAxis+Axisdapter in project boxes)
1x 2-player custom arcade cabinet (JLF and Seimitu clears with ArcEye2s, Paewang + FGW LED controller)

Probably going to build myself a custom 2-player stick this summer, but we’ll see.

16?
2 of them have MC Cthulu’s installed. Plan on customizing up to 3 more with the MC Cthulu. Fits best into my plans.

This the current line-up if my memory’s correct –
2 Arcana Heart*2 joysticks (one of these is a bastardized cross with a T5 faceplate and baseplate)
1 HRAP 3 SE
1 HRAP 3 SA
1 HRAP 3-W (White variant)
2 Mad Catz Round 1 TE’s/original SF IV edition; one of these is awaiting a new PCB + wiring + disconnects otherwise is complete
1 Mad Catz Round 2 TE/MvC 2
1 Mad Catz Round 1/Femme Fatale
3 Agetec joysticks; 2 are empty but prepped for artwork and part upgrade installations
1 HRAP N3 SA/Soul Calibur V Joystick
1 HRAP VLX Diamond
1 HRAP V3 SA (original red edition – NOT Kai; US release)
1 HRAP 2 SA

I’ve sold/traded out at least another 8-10 joysticks (7 Tekken 5, 1 Mad Catz Round 2/MvC2, 1 HRAP 3) and cases online.
In addition, I’ve owned 2 Namco joysticks in the past plus the Hori Fighting SS joystick (US edition; contact buttons) and an Ascii Fighting Stick SS. Prior to that, I had two Atari-style connecting Wico joysticks: a bat handle and the ā€œfamous red ballā€ joystick. These were most often used with my long-gone Atari 800 computer. I had an Atari 2600 when those were popular but I never did care for that console…

I still feel in some ways 16 is too much (for what I actually use) but there are some joysticks I’m attached to that I probably wouldn’t sell under most circumstances… These are by the best pieces of joystick controller hardware I’ve played with in over 30 years of gaming.

The Tekken tourney stick looks like Sanford had a go at it

That is actually the stock art of the new Tekken Tournament Sticks
Green are Xbox 360 sticks, Blue are PS3 sticks and grey with white sides are for the Wii U

With the exception of the Xbox 360 stick the buttons are ā€œNamcoā€ yellow (actually sanwa yellow) and Dark Hai

I think that actually is the same stick that he threw though.

Edit: Btw, I have 2 360 TE-S+s. That smoke green gets me.

I own 2. I have a Brawlstick that needs some new art, has all Sanwa parts. I also have an MLG TE that will soon be finished being customized once I get my art from Art.

Hmmm. Do my twin sticks count as two sticks? Are we only talking fighting game sticks?

  1. 2 X MCCthulhu based fighting sticks (Chinese rip off TE, fightstick Asia I believe)
  2. Foehammer hitbox stealth
  3. 2 X blaze twin sticks
  4. Custom (TEFIGHTSTANDS) 720 degrees arcade stick
  5. Chinese rip off TE 720 degrees stick
  6. Home made MAS ripoff
  7. Hori Tekken 5 wireless 360 stick
  8. 3 X NGX sticks
  9. Dragoncast dreamcast stick (no idea on the brand)
  10. Happs 3.5" trackball
  11. 2 X PDP MK Klassic

I think that’s it. If the blazes count as two each, that makes my total 18. But keep in mind that I just sold 2 SEs and 2 TE2s. Also, I’ll be buying something from Jasen when he’s back, either a Panzer or a Lindbergh. Or two. I think I have a problem.

It’s a slippery slope when you start getting sticks. It never stops.

  1. NES Advantage (of course)
  2. Ascii Saturn Fight Stick
  3. Interact Arcade Shark for N64 (always wanted to use the board to make a respectable N64 stick for KI:Gold, but never did…)
  4. ā€œSammyā€ (Ascii) Guilty Gear XX Custom stick for PS2
  5. Hori Tekken 5 10th Anniversary stick for PS2
  6. Ascii Dreamcast SNK stick (or maybe the Capcom one… dark blue with white top and light blue buttons, optical stick, octo gate)
  7. Hori Fight Stick Wii
  8. Hori 360 Fight Stick EX2
  9. Mad Catz Chun Li Tournament Edition: S for PS3
  10. Mad Catz TTT2 TE:S stick for Wii to be modded for XBO use soon

11 & 12. 2 x Neo Geo X USB sticks (fun for GGPO / Divekick  )
13. Sanwa USB stick (SUPER low-end; was given by a friend; barely works, haha)

Dracula_X, you’re totally right: Once you buy one or two, they multiply when you’re not looking.

Guess whats open again!?!

Currently at 4+1:

A B15SDM custom (the ā€˜Vintage Science Stick’);
A MadCatz SCV TE-S (a ā€˜Nextwave’ stick - 6-button, dual modded, lots of other cosmetic changes);
A Sega Virtua Stick High Grade (direct replacement parts to keep it looking ā€˜stock’, PS360+ incoming);
A Sega HSS-0130 Virtua Stick Pro (left 8-button, because Guardian Heroes).

And a 6-button Sanwa’d MadCatz SFIV SE (but that’s up for sale).
