I’m the push around on G2 but I’m glad that I’m getting good practice from good players or I just suck at it…lol
I just love the game.
This seems like a sympathy thread. I have had moments where people beat me so bad that I felt like I was new to the game all over again. Very rare though. Stop doing things that don’t work. Simple.
by the time you’ll finally “get it”, street fighter 5 will be out
I mostly play online, and I’d say it took me about 3 months to get to the point where I felt like I was competent (a couple weeks ago). The big change for me is being able to think “OK, now this guy’s down on life, he’s gonna try something safe like a Hadoken, so I’m gonna EX Demon Flip and hit him on the recovery”, or “He’s got Ultra and he’s knocked down, so I’m gonna come in swinging but then block at the last second” - things like that.
It takes knowledge of the characters, sure, but it’s just as much about knowing what the other person is going to want to do in their situation.
