How is the Difficulty on Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 1?

I recently got the Street Fighter 2 Anniversary Collection, and on the easiest setting the comp doesn’t play easy really.
I was able to go through one game with Ryu, but some characters are better suited than others, like him.

How is the difficulty of say Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition on the Capom Classics Collection Vol. 1?
Does it have easier settings, or similar “difficult no matter what setting” type stuff?

The SF2 games in CC1 have much more manageable difficulty. But they have annoying load times.
