How in the hell is this supposed to be fair?

How the player actually plays the game?

I would have guessed so, but anything specific?

How they handle certain situations. .how “smart” they play. Do they know optimal combos? Are they hit confirming big damage? Hell, are they hit confirming at all or just mashing combos if they are blocked or not…?they punish all your mistakes? Do they make mistakes often? Things like wake up DP and blow meter on bad reads or nah? How solid are they with their characters moves and normals and the matchup against yours? Are they actually reading whats going on and making adjustments or just playing on auto pilot? do they fall for the same situations/setups over and over? Its easy to tell how well a person knows the game with in the first round or two regardless of LP totals …it should always be an “eye test” sort of thing…a high LP does kind of tell you for the most part what your getting in to, but its not definitive

LP definitly tells you that, the only thing with LPs is that there is a bunch of players who don’t play ranked much + some that don’t really try and so they are not at the LP they should be.

But for equal play time + taking it seriously it’s pretty accurate imo.
