What’s good about MvC2’s music…? It’s like acid jazz had a baby with lounge music.
\o/ List thread fuck yeah!

For me, definitely 3s and Tekken 5 DR
MvC2 music doesn’t fit the game at all.
I think it makes things more interesting sometimes. I really liked HDR’s musical score, thought SFIV’s was/is total crap. But most of the time I can’t really remember the music in a fighting game at all.
Its a nice bonus, but far from gamebreaking.
One of my favorite soundtracks is T5DR, excellent stuff all around.
If I don’t like a soundtrack or dont feel like listening to it after 1000 matches or so (SFIV!), I just pop on the headphones and spam Muse all night.
Muse > fighting game music.
Seriously, noone else think Soul Blade had super awesome music? :lovin:

Brave Folk Song (Cervantes) -
At least I think that’s the titles of the songs… Was a while since I played it.
Music gets me into the game more. It’s always been pretty important to me and a custom soundtrack method/feature has actually led to me playing some games even more. Pre-soundtrack Marvel didn’t have as lengthy practice sessions as post-soundtrack Marvel for me.
Most fighting games to me have hit or miss music depending on the stage so sometimes I’ll just play my own music over it.
In SF4 on the China stages, I swear dude, my power level goes up and I get like +4 in grooviness so watch out. :nunchuck:
Good music = I gets hyped = I plays better
So yea, important I guess~
Good music gives Hype IMO: that’s why I love SF2,GG and BB OST.
