How does the PC version of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger stack up to the X360 version?

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you guys have tried the PC version of BlazBlue yet? What did you guys think? Is it worth getting, or is it just a poorly done port?

Also does anyone know if the PC version is getting a US release or will I just have the UK version online?

Thanks.

It released before the console version. They are probably ports of the PC version.

BB Calamity Trigger @ 1600x1050 (with rock solid 60fps) looks awesome
doesn’t even require a beast of a computer to run like this

Not very surprising, seeing the small number of fighting games on PC imo. Especially for euros who are always 4 years behind

Oh right, to answer the OP, I haven’t played the console version but the PC version isn’t just a shoddy port, it’s quite good.
Apart from the obvious flaws that the console version has as well, that is.

Ok cool, so it sounds like it is worth getting. Does anyone know though if it will see the light of day in the US?

This game is available in the United States via digital copy on Games For Windows Live. I don’t know if you can buy a retail boxed copy, but at least we have a way to get the game.

When you buy BlazBlue as a digital download, can you back that up to a DVD since your not buying a retail package?? Ive never bought games this way, I always bought the retail version

plz no talk about bbcs leak kthx

BBCTPC works exactly like the 360 version except you got options for screen res, bloom and able to use 480p videos for all the animated scenes. AFAIK the only way to get it in North America without importing is through GFLW Digital Service. 35 bucks isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either and is mostly if you want to kill it for points. If you are that desperate for points.

What leak??? BlazBlue CT is on Games For Windows Live

Are they going to release continuum shift/ CS2 on pc?

Not too sure as they just released BB:CT on GFWL on 9/2/2010

Is the current version cross platform? If they release continuum shift 2 on pc I’ll gladly pay for it. The company has worked so hard to please the consumers by making a fantastic netcode, 2d hd sprites, good tutorial modes and other features. They deserve a lot of respect.

Can anyone offer some answers to the following questions?

1)How is the netcode on the PC version?

2)How large or small is the PC community?

3)Can people from the US play people from Japan and Europe?

4)Can we spectate matches that take place in Japan and Europe?

5)Is there text chat? Is there voice chat?

6)Why do you suppose this game was released in the US on GFWL but not on Steam?

Thanks in advance
