I’m 0/3 with getting girlfriends to like Street Fighter. They all loved it for a few weeks until they realized that sometimes I would want to play SF more than I would want to hang out with them. Maybe thanks to this post, I’ll have better luck on my fourth try.
This isn’t 3rd Strike, but I’ve had a girlfriend and we played Guilty Gear. The matches were lopsided and she never got any better. It was an awful experience for both of us so we never played together. It was then that I never wanted to play fighting games with a girlfriend ever again. This includes 3S.

Though I should say I’m way more biased against gamer girls in general.
