How do I prevent blisters from D-Pads?

I’m gonna agree with Annihilation here, but sadly I don’t play stick much lately either for two reasons:

  1. My brother recently killed the stick I’ve been using for the past 4 years or so.
  2. Most of my friends play pad, so I play it as well just to be fair, though I wouldn’t do the same in a tourney for obvious reasons.

…you play with a joystick, that’s how.

lol, you set yourself up for this one.

Innuendos anyone?

nope, just horny

wear a condom on your thumb.
this thread blows.

I dunno how anyone can get a blister on your fingers when playing on pad. When i used to play on pad this never happened to be. SF games arent pressure senstive games. Fucking scrubs.

i play on ps3 pad. my left hands middle finger has a bump on it from rubbing against the underside of the controller. if you look under the controller, there is a small hole where the screws are set in. When I grip my controller, some of my skin gets molded in to that hole and creates a callous or blister.

Hardy harr harr.

no problem I actually remember seeing two people do this (I am more so a Tekken Player but I like SF4 so I plan to get into it) but I’ve seen my good friend Spero Gin do this alot I am not sure what his reason is tho.

Gasaraki- I agree I like the PS2 pad over any other pad…

I feel people should play on whatever is most comfortable for them wether it be pad, stick, or whatever…just my thoughts at the time…just my thoughts…

Learn to use stick. You’ll be happy you did.
