How can I leave my home town with no money?

Ryu doesnt have shit, and he ends in up in other countries

Like previously said , the military can be a good route if you can handle the envirnoment.

The next best thing is figuring out a means to get you qualified to get a better job outside your town. Have you tried applying for a state college? I know you said you donā€™t have much money , but state colleges normally have good finance plans for in state residence . You can work out a financial package that will pretty much cone down to student loans. You could live and work on campus so u have change in your pocket.

Most importantly, u just have to pick something and go. Up rooting yourself from home us never really easy , just gotta do it. Pick a means ā€¦ and give it a shot

Next time you have to take a shit, record the sounds you make then call it dubstep.

kerplop kerplop kerplop
wubwubwubwubwubwub
UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGhHHHH!!!
Damn

Some good advice here. Skip the illegal stuff.

Remember not to knock any broads up though. That isnā€™t game over but hurts real bad. Like, if you are having trouble now you probably wonā€™t recover.

I would recommend college, but what the fuck do I know.

So is that how you found your way to SRK?

Never give a bitch your real name.

Oh yeah, watch/playthru how Ryo Hazuki did it.

Heā€™s like the everyman. even with all his fist power, he got robbed and taken for his stash of bills, so many times!

Have you got any friends in other places you can go to? Anyone need a roommate? If you can crash at someoneā€™s place for a while, you might be able to find a better job, or at the very least just be in a different placeā€¦

That said, I think it depends more on what you want to do with your life. What do you see yourself doing in the future? Consider that when thinking about where you want to go.

Tell that to Holyfield

Many immigrants do this shit that you are attempting every.fucking.dayā€¦

The easiest way is through education, obviously. If you can manage going to a community college, I recommend going their and studying NURSING. Become a Registered Nurse (RN) and go wherever the fuck you want to go.

yeah vocational school/community college would be the best bet if you can stomach being there for a couple of years. pick something that would be useful with a 2 year associates degree like book keeping/accounting or computer networking so you can find a job with it or transfer to a 4 year university if you want.

You need to figure out what city you want to move too. You then need to work out what the cost of living is per month. Your goal should be saving side enough to get by for 3 months, ideally youā€™ll have a job within the month no later than two but it is always good to have extra cash for things you donā€™t foresee.

When it comes to making the money work overtime or find a second job. If youā€™re already living within your means saving the cash should take about a year.

Just hitchhike
Youā€™d be surprised how far a blow job or two in a truck stop rest room will take you.

Try to end up somewhere close to the equator and near a coast. Those are the best places to be homeless.

Iā€™ve been in your shoes before. I was born and raised in Baltimore, and didnā€™t fit in at all.

In-between the jokes (do nothing illegal, getting busted and having a record will make your situation almost impossible), thereā€™s some good advice here. Donā€™t get a bitch pregs, youā€™ll just be locked down for 18 years. Military, esp Navy, if you can do it is a good one. Taking advantage of fam in other cities is good.

Short of that, Iā€™d say education and working are your best bets. First: you need to accept the fact that youā€™re going to have to do some shitā€“work fast food, sit through boring classes, deal with people who annoy you, whateverā€“you donā€™t want to do and no one will hand you shit. Welcome to being a male. Anyway, once you come to terms with that, and do yourself a favor and do so asap, enroll at a community college and study somethingā€“it doesnā€™t really matter what. Hopefully something you love, if not something that will at least keep you awake. A pell grant should cover in-state tuition to a junior college and leave you a bit left over. When youā€™re not at school or studying you should be working somewhereā€“fuck, work at McDonalds if you have to, jsut get a job and make money. I mean, its not like thereā€™s a bunch of awesome friends and fam youā€™re hanging out with everyday who take up your time: otherwise, you prob wouldnā€™t be in a hurry to go, right? So you might as well be working/studying/doing something to gtfo of there in your downtime.

After a few years, you should have some bank and a piece of paper, so if you want to transfer to the nearest four year college in your nearest major city, you can do that; or if you want to move to a city and take a shot at getting a passable job, at least with the job experience and 2 year degree you have a shot in hell at doing it, and you can live on your savings (with a roomie) in the meantime.

Another thing you can do: get a hobby, be it gaming or hiking or stamp collecting or something; something where you get along with the people in it. Because along with professional networking, hobby networking can also be huge in your life, in that itā€™ll allow you, no matter where you go, to track down and step into a social scene where you know the history and rules. Like if youā€™re a big science fiction fan and you go to cons in your hometown, then you know when you move to another city, the first thing you do is track down the local science fiction society and see when they meet, when the cons are, etc. Also having a real hobby is also something to put down on the resume.

Sorry for the long post. Good luck.

Do you live in a place so shit-poor that Mountain Dew and Mac n Cheese are considered to be food groups, like Appalachia?

Military. I did it. Iā€™m better for it. I went from making 8-10k a year failing at odd jobs to having a modest income (cleared 50k last year). I now have a beautiful family, Iā€™m halfway through my last class I need for my associates degree with plans on completing a 4 year, and a schedule that permits it.

Yeah thereā€™s some things about it that suck but honestly it was the best decision I could have made at that point. I was 20 and in the exact same boat 5 yrs ago. Good luck to you bro.

Start a lemonade stand as a front for your underground fight club.

failing that sell crap you donā€™t need on ebay, get a job in another town or city

Send an awesome screenplay to Miramax, then buy your hometown and turn it into a mini Las Vegas.

Or, study how to beat Adon then dismantle Gamerbee to collect prize money.

In America, can you get massive loans you never have to pay back to go to college for 3 years?
