I live in east central Florida. There are no arcades here at all and none of my friends who play know what they’re doing either. If I go online, I get bodied every single match no matter what, so I can’t play other people online to get better because I have no one to tell me what I’m doing wrong. Quitting isn’t really my thing, so how can I go about getting better and where I can I meet local players to help me out if there are zero arcades around? Also, I’m 19. Do I have reason to be discouraged that I waited til I was this old to really learn? I heard doing well in tournies has a lot to do with playing hardcore since you’re a kid.
I started at 32. Only played 4 human beings offline my entire long 3 years carrier. 3 of them where in a small tourney. Can get my offline 3k PP 10k BP with my main consistently.
But watched a ton of vids, and have been thinking and theory fighting a lot on my own. Add to that SRK datas and dedication.
Though at 19 you should be able to find offline buddies. You’re not trying hard enough.
Thanks, that definitely helps with the age thing. And you might be right about not trying hard enough, but I’m just a little unsure on how to go about it. Thanks for the reply!
