Big thanks to everyone that came out for this tournament. I’m willing to move the time back to 2 p.m. afternoon if that means more people will show up. Ronald, Rudy, Vineet, Jan, Sanchez, Dutchforce, I hope to see all you guys at the next ranbat!

Next ranbat date is 4/16/06

You realize that’s on Easter right?

Easter is a christian holiday in which us christians…oh wait, we don’t really do anything except make sure we go to church in the morning.

Ranbats are in the afternoon , church is over by that time.

(it’s really to acknowledge the risen son for those that don’t know.)

Lol, that’s true, but I figure that some of us are going to have to spend time with family and what not.

easter eggs for the winners? and i’ll try my hardest to wake up this time =D

If my school schedule permits, I’ll be there. Ready to let Dudley out of his cage and do some ground & pound :nunchuck:

Ill definitely will try to show up for the next Ranbat, just for fun, since catching up in points is out of the question.

There will be 8 ranbats per season so catching up on points is definitely possible. Random seeding also contributes to that as well.

i should be able to make it to this one. ciao

Toan that mean you ducking out of the dallas tourney that same weekend?

ooo shit…i gotta cancel on my gf. im doing it for you huynh!

Isn’t the season lasting until December, what are you talking about? I doubt everybody will show up to every ranbat, if you win or get top 3, thats catching up considerably already, as well as easily putting you in the running for top 5 which should guarantee you a prize.

Thats all you have to say:tup:

I wanna come up there to catch up with you guys playing all the other games etc…I just gotta get a ride with someone.

Each 3S ranbat season lasts for 4 months. After that everything resets and a new season begins. Going with a short season gives a couple of obvious advantages such as, not burning people out, introducing 2v2 or different format the next season, reseting of points so everyone gets a clean slate etc. I’ve talked to the majority of players already and this seems to be the general consensus, so that’s what I’m going with.

Yeah, I think thats a really good Idea, a 2v2 format or mayber 3v3 to make things more exciting. Im sure people will get burnt off unless things get interesting.

2v2 huh…whose gonna need a partner? ^^;;

yea im all for the short season. a clear winner should be obvious by that time. and if the top people are breaking away in points others will lose interest.

i think the format is great…it keeps it from getting stale. i like being able to do stuff afterwards.

Well if people aren’t interested in prizes and just playing for points I guess it doesn’t matter.
