WTB: srs Gen and Elf players
Hey all, it looks like I’ll be moving to the New Castle area pretty soon, hopefully Bear. I’m a srs SSFIV Gen player so hopefully I’ll be able to join some gatherings there in a few weeks.
I’m still looking for a place, so any recommendations for areas around New Castle to move into would be much appreciated! Trying to avoid moving into a ghetto :china:
I have changed my schedule up some for Friday so I might start making it back out there again. I would get there a little around 930-10pm though x_x

To add on to Mike’s suggestions, it will most likely depend on your budget. School Bell and Brandywine are probably your two best places along with that one place on rt. 40 in Bear (can’t remember the name) but they’re also the most pricey. Christiana Meadows is a pretty decent semi-gated area in Bear and has all sorts of facilities and is a bit cheaper the aforementioned.
I’m currently staying in Appleby in New Castle (literally a 3 minute drive to Bear and all the previous complexes mentioned).Its a decent area, pretty nice apts, and very responsive maitenance from my experience. They can be around the same price or cheaper than Christiana Meadows. We have police security through weekends and some additional nights, and another resident officer to handle any emergencies. One of the nearby complexes closer to the Walmart is pretty bad though. None of it has managed to enter my area to my knowledge though. Both CM and Appleby 1BR apts. start around the $700-750 area IIRC. Christiana Meadows’ 1-Bedrooms have a better layout too from my memory. Check em both out.
If you’re looking for cheaper. There are also a few places that have decent prices for the space given near Christiana High School. If I can remember the names I’ll let you know.
Thanks a ton for the info, guys. I was looking for places for $700-1000, so the suggestions were very helpful. I’m going to drive down in a few days to check out School Bell, St. Andrews, and I was going to check out Fox Run since the company that runs it just won some “best properties” award or something, but Daidoji Kage told me to avoid it, so again that was very helpful. I guess I’ll check out Christiana Meadows, Appleby or some other place instead! Thanks again.
Yea man, regarding Fox Run…we got robbed there. The thieves used crow-bar to destroy the front door and the management would not fix it.
