Yeah I’ve pretty much been spending my time exploring the map collecting shit and upgrading my pouches and I’ve only just become seeker one or two missions ago lol. Not gonna go onto more mainline missions until I’m bored. Having a lot more fun right now just seeing what the map holds in store for me. Also this game at night looks fucking ridiculous.
2 rock breakers is hard as shit. One by itself is easy. It’s a game of dodge dodge dodge aim for the mouths with a triple arrow. Kills him in after a few times
Modification farming method:
[list]
[] Buy ‘Special Modification Boxes’ from a merchant; the more boxes that you are able to buy/utilize, the better (and faster) this method works out.
[] OPTIONAL: (Manual) Save onto a different file slot; in the event that things don’t work out, you can go back to another/previous save where you still have all your monetary/selling resources intact, prior to buying the boxes.
[] After buying the boxes, open/check the contents of each box, but do not take anything out of the boxes yet, unless you manage to get a high-quality mod on the first pass (YMMV).
[] With all the boxes opened/checked and intact, save your game; either quick/manual save.
[] Now, reload from the last save to ‘re-roll’ the contents of the opened boxes, and check them again for some (hopefully) high-quality weapon/armor mods that you would choose to keep.
[] Repeat the reload last save & re-checking the open boxes until you manage to get some suitable high-quality mods. You can kinda refresh the re-roll process by exiting to the main menu and choosing ‘Continue’, instead, every so often.

tl:dr

It will be my year of the game if it wasn’t because Shadow of War is comming and it sees to be simply epic.
Otherwise, this game will be my choice hands down.
Aloy usually talks about the river washing away the smell.
Bruh this game makes me feel like I’m doing a David Attenborough/Steve Irwin/Bear Grylls documentary on the National Geographic. I’ve just climbed the wall from GoT, swam with giant Crocs, hid in grass from Dinosaurs, and traversed the red earth while being chased by giant birds. How am I having this much fun without playing the main game?
Dafuq? AC3 is my favourite AC title, the way Connor moves, has access to so many weapons and can basically go Last of the Mohicans style was awesome, fire musket, murk with musket, switch to waraxe.
Aloy has a lot of similiar things to Connor with so it makes me remember the game a lot. Also Horizon vs human combat is garbage, there little opertunity to style on humans too with the special attacks.
Open world comparrison I find Horizon a pain in the ass to navigate as it seems far to go to find a mount, i havent unlocked the instant call ability yet, and I find the world kinda small and uninteresting with the exception of the western side of the map with the wrecked city scapes.
AC4 had the pirate ship and ocean seafaring, nothing open world has come even close to that shit yet.
I thought ACIII was incredibly disappointing. I was mad I paid full price for it (Only AC I ever bought new). Its too bad to cuz i love american history and the old colonialism setting, but the story was awful, the gameplay wasnt as a big an improvment over the previous ones as i wanted, i didnt csre about the settlement stuff and i remember being super put off by the rigid stealth.
Black Flag was fucking awesome tho. Really liked that one. Scooped it for 20 tho instead of full price.
I think Horizons better then both of them tho, far more compelling in almost every way shrug
Yeah I’m with you on AC3. I almost missed out on Black Flag because of how disappointing I found AC3. You put Native American anything in a game you have me half sold. It just didn’t deliver. The only thing I liked about AC3 was the ship battles.
