Excellent D-Pad, 6 face buttons, comfortable to hold. Not much more you need than that.

Do you mind if I ask an entirely honest question? Do you work for Hori or a store that sells Horis? The way that you took your pictures (make absolutely sure that the Hori logo is clear, and that there’s a picture of the packaging and even the one with “Hori Super Fight Commander” or whatever it is blocking part of the screen) seems to indicate that you have some sort of ulterior motive.

I could be wrong, but honestly, I’d rather see one picture showing the layout plainly than 8 showing how pretty it is and the fact that, yes, it really is made by Hori.

haha, Nah I dont work for Hori. Im a professional photographer and thats my job. I do Weddings, and event photography. My spare time I play SF4 on my PS3 and also on my 360. So Far having a bad addiction with the game. =)

My Favorite feature from the controller is the buttons, Make the game to do moves really really freaking easy (Spamming Fireball like you a pro shooting at it). Madcatz I have been use for this past whole year with SF4 and is good, but the build quality is really bad. Went down on me more than 4 times because of the wirless problem and I also hear people snap the controller in half (Lol’D). The Controller is build for fighting games and work better for fighting game. If you are really looking for nice fancy design cool and style, you can go for MadCatz.

Got one of these babies to replace the madcatz pad. The only MAJOR problem with Hori FC3, is the shoulder buttons. There are (2) sets of R triggers, what they should have done is use the L triggers on the face of the controller instead and use the R triggers to be customized to use the PPP or KKK buttons.

Interesting. I still think that the Sega Saturn style DPad is the way to go though. Also, I have a MadCatz fightpad that still works after a year.

I have one (major) gripe. Maybe its just me but with the SLS d-pad, the difference between back and up-back is sooooo minuscule, that very often i flip the pad back for a block or charge move and end up jumping. Wasn’t an issue on my mad catz. Cost me way too many matches.

but link combos seem to come out 2x better. I’m wondering if its cuz the SLS is wired and the catz is not…

Also, an issue i have with the SLS is the spacing between the punch buttons for EX moves. could be just me but I’ve missed way too many EX GH knockdowns.

Really need to buy a stick, and end this nonsense*
