Hori V Kai Xbox One - Advice/Help with LEDs

I own a RAP V and have been using it for a while now, I play SFV and other games on my PC, Xbox One and RetroPi. I am looking into modding it and what I have planned is to get some custom artwork made and plexi. but I am also interested in setting up LED lighting for the Sanwa buttons I have.

So far from what I have researched I am going to need the following to setup LEDs:

  • BROOK UNIVERSAL FIGHTING BOARD
  • Paradise Kaimana Mini LED Driver PCB 8 Button Kit
  • An Extra Paradise Kaimana J2 RGB LED and Paradise Kaimana J2 3" Wire Harness (I want to light up all 9 buttons and I read that the Kaimana can do up to 12 buttons)

The only thing I could not find were any walkthroughs on mounting the board in a RAP V enclosure. I am also not sure if its possible or if its going to be more trouble then its worth. My understanding is its manageable but I will probably lose the functionality of the side switches and button on the side of the fightstick when I install the Brook board but I am not 100%.

If anyone has any advice or experience with setting up LEDs in a RAPV or something similar and can lend some assistance before I make my purchase it would be greatly appreciated. Other then that the rest of the setup looks straight forwards from what I have seen.

Is the button layout and spacing the same as the HRAP 4? These prototypes were run a couple of years ago but there was never enough interest to produce them commercially. The brook converter was an optional feature that only made it into a couple of sticks at EVO that year. :frowning:

I believe so but I am looking into it further and looking for some diagrams of the two.
