HORI Real Arcade VX Kai joystick inputs won't register

Hey,

So, I was playing some endless with a friend, when all of a sudden my stick stopped responding. The buttons all work, ps logo button too etc. But the stick itself won’t register. I opened up the back panel to see if anything was loose, or burned out, but didn’t see anything, the stick is still physically working, but the inputs won’t register. I tried to plug/unplug it, restart the ps3 etc. My back up stick is working, but this one isn’t. I have had this for like 3 months tops. I’m looking for any advice or anything I can do to fix/repair this reasonable.

Just curious but did you check what setting you have the stick on(RS/LS)?

It’s the number one thing people should check if their stick has that feature(namely Mad Catz) with the LS/DP/RS.

Swapping it to LS/DP seems to work, but RS isn’t working. Is there a reason that RS won’t work?

Because Right analog Stick never had any input on any pads in fighters. Try using your Xbox 360 pad and moving the right analog stick, there will be no response just as what you were initially experiencing on your HRAP VX Kai.

DP = DPad
LS= Left (Analog) Stick
RS = Right (Analog) Stick
