Found the thread for the AX S+G
Let us not forget about this gem. Call this thing an HRAP L3?
The 360 HRAP EX that I have seems more or less identical to the one pictured here, except that the button layout is different: A, B, X and Y are in a square shape between the bumper and trigger buttons (picture here).
I’m pretty sure it uses the same PCB and everything, so maybe this is just a first edition they made before they realized that this style layout is horrible?
Anyone know if there’s a vendor that sells spare parts for the HRAP3?
Looking for a new panel, possibly a new PCB too.
Don’t forget the red Arcana Heart 3 stick, hardware identical to standard ps3 / 360 VX/V3SA…

more pics including other angles and box here
V HRAPs haven’t been added yet. I wrote up all of the N/A HRAPs which should be added to the first post soon.
I’m sure there was an aquapazza stick as well, btw is it being taken off psn because its on sale for $9.99 for the 100th time.
Very informative post.
I didn’t know the latest style RAPs had buttons soldered onto the PCB. But it makes sense that they are.
I don’t think I’ll ever switch the buttons (I never do if they aren’t QDs), and the Kuros are fine to me anyway.
I’ve owned 2 HRAP 1s (mirror finish), sold the one with the darker mirror finish sometime ago. I now have 2 HRAP (version 2, with the “brushed metal” front) sticks.
I’m very familiar with the LS-32 modding technique. I also should have some pictures of the version 2:

Mounting a LS-32 in a HRAP version 1:
Spoiler
When mounting an LS-32(-01) or LS-40(-01) to this stick, use the Seimitsu SS mounting plate. This will ensure the correct mounting height to the HRAP.
Required tools: Phillips screwdriver, Metric tap wrench (4M, 0.7mm pitch)
Suggested tools: Metric nut driver (to remove the fastening nuts/washers in the HRAP), Vampliers/Neji-saurus pliers (to remove some of the difficult stock mounted screws on the JLF, or in case the screws strip while being unscrewed.).
An example of a metric tap wrench:

- Remove the rear panel of the HRAP body. Suggest using a metric nut driver to remove the fastening nuts and washers from the mounting screws once the back panel is removed.
- Once the fastening nuts/washers are removed, remove the mounting screws and gently lift the front panel from the HRAP body.
- The stock mounted JLF will be mounted as pictured:

Remove the screws using a Phillips screw driver.
4. With the screws removed, use the tap wrench to “drill” the proper sized screw holes in the areas circled below:

- Place the SS plate atop the newly prepped screw holes and proceed to mount the LS-32/LS-40 stick.

There’s also a wirless hrap (WHRAP) for ps3 which is not included on this list. I had mine imported from Japan.
Hey this lives on without me, dope.
I’ll be adding the info provided via everyone in the last 10 posts sometime in the next 48 hours after I recover from doing gaming at an anime con for the last 3 days.
It’s not “without you”. I gave you good shoutouts in thread and linked to OG thread.
Seriously though, thanks for the work. I of all people know how tough it is to keep track of this type of info.
Spoiler
Does anyone here know if the Amazon JP version of the HRAP 3 really has the universal joystick mount that allows you to mount LS-32s and LS-40s on it?
I thought that the RAP3s had the same mounting plate as the HRAP1b (which, Seimitsu wise, only lets you mount LS-56 and LS-58s)?
EDIT: White Amazon JP HRAP3 does have the same plate as the original HRAP3. Thus LS-32s and LS-40s are a no-go, but 56/58 models can be mounted. See the picture below:

Definitely the plate from the HRAP1 version 2 and regular HRAP3.
Also, I found on Amazon JP the Real Arcade Pro v3 SE Black x Green for PS3:

EDIT- Apparently I’ve hit the character limit for the main post, and I wasn’t smart enough to do multiple posts to edit before people commented. No idea what to do here. @d3v might be able to shed light on what my options are, but I may have to create a new thread and then just do a shitload of edit me later posts. I’ll wait for his confirmation first. In the meantime, I’ve made all the main post edits and have a backup of the entire edited post on a text doc.

-Edited section to give shoutouts to those who helped recently provide info
I put it on the list of stuff to add later. If you’d like to do a description for it in the same format it’d help. Thanks again bro.
Why a new panel? Is there something wrong with the old one? As for PCB, I’d just use any current market PCB instead of the shitty stock Hori ones.
You’re best off checking the trading outlet. Or find a cheap T6 wireless on eBay and use that. Should be the same since it’s the same base and all.
I’ve never seen that before. I recently worked on an EX and it was P1-P3 and K1. Does the button labels coincide with A B X Y in the square area on your graphic too?
I knew that needed to be on the list only because I’ve seen the red base and wanted it personally lol. Thanks for reminder, i’ll put it on to do list. Feel free to do description in same format as others if you’d like. Saves me time.
You are correct. I’ll add that to the to do list as well. As mentioned to others, feel free to do a description for it if you’d like.
Thanks.
I don’t think the newer RAPs had buttons soldered on PCB especially those with Hayabusa and Kuro parts. I could be wrong here, but I’m pretty sure only the old PS2/PS3/360 OG RAP base had the buttons soldered to PCB. I’m sure we’ll know for sure once I eventually post interior PCB photos of these sticks down the road.
Yeah I found in doing research there was the two versions (one without mirror), which is why I mentioned “Mirror Finish” on the original post, but hadn’t researched any major differences between the two or mentioned in the description about the brushed finish yet. Yet more I need to research on. Any notable differences that you’re aware of I can note?
Appreciate this. I’ll have to figure out where this information should be incorporated on the main post. Previous descriptions on how to do this (at least with photos) linked in other topics was lost due to old website hosts like Geocities.
Added all to main list. Thanks.
I’ll put it on the to do list. If you have any links or information on it that prevents me having to do more research (plenty on my plate from this topic already), feel free to post it here. Thanks.
Will add that info to main post as well thanks.
