The pcb isn’t common ground if i remember right
That is probably why your directions don’t map out right
Yes the pcb is not common ground, but I’ve cut the grounds on the stick and wired it directly to the switches but I guess I have to cut it better. Such a crappy pcb -_-
do you have a multimeter to test?
or better yet the original stick + harness to compare?
sadly, I don’t have any of which you are talking about >.<
I’ve found a pic of microswitch pcb ground down

,
I’ll probably grind it down some more. I have a problem where one of the microswitches is mapped to the 5 button when I soldered it to the pcb.
do korean crown buttons fit into the hrap & TE or are the button holes too big?
Can anyone tell me what colors go to which directions on the HRAP3’s joystick wire harness? Obviously, black is ground.
The holes are drilled for 30mm buttons. Most Japanese joysticks have button holes drilled to 30mm spec.
Crown buttons are 28mm and would fit loosely in the HRAP faceplate.
Not recommended… You would have to commission a new faceplate to fit in Korean buttons.
On the other hand, a few of the older joystick designs – like the Agetec Dreamcast joystick – are compatible with 28mm buttons assuming you DON’T widen the button holes on the metal faceplate.
Most important wiring diagram to download and save it… or, PRINT THIS OUT!

Another stupid question: HRAP3 uses the same colors as the Sanwa harness, right?
Hi all!
Sorry for the dumb question, what is the most easiest way to my V3 SA will be dual modded? What options do I have? Can you show me please a thread or something?
I just noticed there is no info regarding the Arcana Heart 2 stick
I don’t know if it’s mentioned elsewhere, but people who still own an original version “A” HRAP:
-
to mount a Seimitsu LS-32-01 with the “SS” plate, you will possibly need to rotate the PCB so that it matches the original JLF. Also, you’ll have to use a tap-and-die to thread the mounting holes to be used with the “SS” plate. Use a metric tap wrench of M4 (4mm) .7 pitch to do the job. You can then use the original mounting screws to mount the LS-32-01.
-
LS-56-01 with the “MS” plate drops right in.
(The old Geocities.jp link is down, I had to yank this information from the Wayback Machine).

I have the HRAP-EX which I’ll be replacing the PCB on (For a PS360+). Once I do this I am going to replace the stick with the standard JLF-TP rather than the JLF-TM, but I’m wondering about mounting height. I have the latest Sanwa catalogue but it doesn’t have the measurements for the TM, only the TP. Is there a difference? I would assume there would be due to the PCB present on the TP, but not sure if there are other contributing factors.
the microswitches doesn’t height affect the mounting height at all, they are practically the same models. my suggestion is to save on money and just buy the TP-MA microswitch pcb assembly, it will fit in the JLF-TM’s. (and maybe a new spring to revive any slack)
Sorry to reply to an old quote. I know its nearly ten years ago. Probably not many people have version 1B anymore. I managed to fit in a LS32 in the hrap1b. Its done via a Siemitsu SE mounting plate. Couldn’ve said that seven years ago but obviously too late.
You would lose about two or three millimeters of shaft due to the extra mounting plate on top of the pre-soldered mounting plate. But I’m sure that won’t hurt.
I doubt many people today would be using a a Hrap 1B. I still use mine to this day! Love my stick! I intend to buy stuff from focusattack.com next month to pimp it up even more! I’ll paint the green auto-fire switches to grey colour. Green colour does my head in.
Don’t paint those. Sale to me.
They’re not for sale, sorry. I’m still using them.
Sorry, please delete this post.
Thanks
