Hey guys i just modded my HRAP V1B, and i got OBSN-30 sanwa screw ins, according to most ppl on this forum they fit fine, however it was hell trying to get the buttons in, after the first two there would be hardly any space, after struggling for an hour i got them all in, but its hell… so anyone dat wants to mod ur hrap1b, get snap ins instead… much easier…

Ihave a HRAP Sp. ED. and I had it for about 7-8 months. Some time ago when I was playing, the R1-button just stopped working! My friend said that it was probably dirt behind the button.

I’m just wondering if it’s safe to open and clean up the dirt behind the buttons? Could there be something else wrong? I have never opened or modded a stick before and to send it in from Sweden would just be a pain. Appreciate your help!

It should be safe to open up your HRAP. Most people do it to swap out the stock Hori buttons with Sanwas, and I doubt the HRAP SE will have a different construction to regular HRAPs (aside from the default Sanwa buttons).

Chances are that the quick disconnect that connects the R1 button to the controller’s PCB became loose. Open up your joystick and reattach the quick disconnect–that should solve your R1 button problem.

can someone tell if it is possible to replace the Sanwa JLF-TP-8Y in the HRAP2 with a Seimitsu LS-40-01? i’ve read the HRAP2 modding thread which deals with a LS-32. i just want to know if this is possible or if it’s been done already. and just on the side, is there a difference in performance (in-8-way) between a LS-32 and a LS-40 or do they feel exactly the same?

I’m planning to do a full seimitisu mod on my hrap2 and was wondering does screw-in seimitsu buttons work? i heard snap ins were recommended or was it just for sanwa buttons? can i use any seimitisu balltop on my LS-32-01? also for the start and select buttons what seimitisu buttons can i use for them?
